Corral RV Park, Tomball, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed there several times over past several years. They completed a box expansion earlier this year so the comment about construction noise no longer applies. No internet or cable, but good local stations via antenna. New section is nice, but no trees. Good area to walk dogs and big dog play area. Saw one review on another website that noted people in office were not very friendly. I agree with that comment. Did not get the impression they appreciated our business. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Miller Creek RV Resort, Johnson City, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We visited over Memorial Day weekend and they had historic flash floods in the Hill Country. The resort is on Miller Creek and it rose dramatically but the park did not flood. The park is exceptional in layout and landscaping. Everything is well maintained. There were some long term residents but they were well kept. Management must have strict rules to keep long term residents sites looking very nice. After the flooding a crew was immediately cleaning up debris on creek bank. Sites and roads are gravel but in perfect condition. One of the best parks we have stayed in and we do a lot of traveling. We camped at Miller Creek RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Park is in good location for wine tours and in a central location for visits to Lukenbach, Fredricksburg and state and National Historical Park. Parks near Fredricksburg were full due to the holiday weekend. They had spots available all weekend as Johnson City is not a big tourist location. The park was not in the city, but a rural location several miles from town.
