Gainesville RV Park, Gainesville, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

The hook ups are satisfactory. There is a small botanical garden at the entrance. Very sweet for a lunch date. Close to shopping and fast food restaurants. My son and I stay there memorial weekend. I found the town's people warm and welcoming. It saddens me to say the management of the park was rude. His only concern was payment. The city office was closed for the holiday. A drop box isn't an option for me. He said I was there illegally, and must disconnect immediately. I say BOO to the manager and hooray to Gainsville!!!! There are no showers. I didn't use the toilets. This park is good for a night or two. The highway noises don't bother me, but are loud. We camped at Gainesville RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lone Oak RV Park, Valley View, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Hookups good. Laundromat clean, $1.00 each. Felt safe. Showers great. Lots not level. I had view of lake, and boat repair lot. Was noisy, but bearable. Management uses texting which I liked, convenient. I would stay again. We camped at Lone Oak RV Park in a Motorhome.
