Chicago Northwest KOA, Union, Illinois

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Everything was good in our one night but they need to do something about the entrance to the office. Ridiculous location on the opposite side of the building. Also, one-lane entrance/exit driveway is strange and annoying. Very attractive, friendly place. We camped at Chicago Northwest KOA in a Motorhome.

Victorian Acres Campground, Nebraska City, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

A very nicely landscaped, clean park, right off highway 2 but noise was not a problem. Large trees provide good shade. There are some semi-permanent residents but they are grouped together at one end. Our site was very wide, gravel driveway, lots of grass in park. We would have given this a 10 if the gravel driveway had been wider. It was just about the width of the motor home so we had to walk in the rain-soaked grass to get back to our car parked behind. Friendly and helpful management. We camped at Victorian Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Arbor Lodge State Park and Morton Mansion, Arbor Day Farm. Lewis and Clark Missouri River Center, and a lovely old city library were the highlights of our visit.

Portal RV Resort and Campground, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful campground. We stayed in the "campground" side, not the "resort" side. The landscaping is very attractive in the campground side, and lush and beautiful in the resort side. Everyone was very friendly and helpful to us. The big thing we will remember about our stay was the mechanical failure we experienced as we were leaving after our two-day stay. As we pulled to a curb to hook up the tow car, the motorhome died. We could not move, and had to have a part FedExed from L.A. During the two days we waited for the part, we were parked in a spot inconvenient for the campground's operation but the owner could not have been nicer or more helpful. That kind of service and friendliness when you are having a "situation" is something you will remember! We camped at Portal RV Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

WaKeeney KOA, WaKeeney, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very convenient campground, right off I-70. But the convenience isn't the greatest thing about it.... absolute cleanliness and friendliness really set this campground apart! Every detail has been attended to and the service provided on check-in and parking could not be better. We will certainly stay here again!! We camped at WaKeeney KOA in a Motorhome.
