Camp Turkeyville RV Resort, Marshall, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This was a great campground. It's a bit on the smaller side, but very clean, great pool and golf carts to rent so lots to do. It's a newer campground so the trees are all small but the sites are big enough so you're not right on top of your neighbors. The best part of this place is the restaurant, Turkeyville, located right at the entrance of the campground. Best turkey sandwiches I've ever eaten - tasted like Thanksgiving in the summer! The restaurant also has a gift shop and an old fashioned malt shop that's worth checking out. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Camp Turkeyville RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Milton/Madison SE KOA (formerly Hidden Valley RV Resort & Campground), Milton, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $63.00
Overall Rating:

I love Hidden Valley. This is the second time we camped here for a long weekend and we had such a great time! The entire park is pristine, they obviously keep up on the maintenance of the grounds. Seasonal campers are extremely friendly and welcoming of the weekenders. There is so much to do - from the pool to the golf cart course (I highly recommend renting a golf cart for the weekend and trying this out), you are never bored. There are tons of activities for families on the weekends - something is going on almost every hour. I have three dogs and I especially appreciate the many "dog deposit disposal" stations. Very convenient and helps to maintain the cleanliness of the park. Will definitely be camping here in the future! We camped at Milton/Madison SE KOA (formerly Hidden Valley RV Resort & Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Great winery nearby, breweries in the area, highly recommend going to New Glarus if you don't mind a little drive.

Crystal Lake Campground (formerly Crystal Lake RV Resort), Lodi, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend. There are very few sites for weekenders - most of the campground was made up of seasonal sites. Our first day we took our three small dogs for a walk around the grounds. Near the lake two very large dogs were off leash and charged us. Luckily they stopped and turned around a few feet before they reached us, but we were very startled by the encounter. We quickly realized that most of the seasonal folks kept their dogs running loose, though there were many prominently displayed signs instructing owners to keep their dogs leashed at all times. I would be extremely hesitant to bring kids to this campground because of this. We definitely won't be going back. We camped at Crystal Lake Campground (formerly Crystal Lake RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.
