Lakeview Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

The owners have made some very nice improvements over the winter. They completely re-did the campground approach and there is no longer any issues with dragging trailers at the entrance. The difference is night and day. The Cajun restaurant on the grounds is better than most that you would eat at in New Orleans and the owners of the restaurant are very friendly as well. This campground is very quiet and "low key" with great shade and a variety of sites to fit the needs of any rig (I am 42' and have plenty of room). Previous reviews about the difficult entrance USED to be correct....not any longer. Well worth the try, and a good value @ $31/night for full hookup. We camped at Lakeview Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Craig KOA (formerly Craig Campground), Craig, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed here for 5 days while visiting friends in Craig. I have been hunting in Craig for 15yrs, and have never stayed here as it simply was run down, and needed some attention. The faculty is now a KOA and is under new ownership. Ed is working hard to clean the place up, and both he and his wife are very friendly. The bathrooms were spotless and the grounds were very well maintained. My rig is over 66ft long and Ed made sure that I had a pull thru that would suit my needs. I will be staying here on my future hunting trips and am anxious to see the work they have done when I return. It's nice to see someone taking pride in their investment, and sprucing the place up. We camped at Craig KOA (formerly Craig Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.
