Camping Alouette, St-Mathieu-de-Beloeil, Quebec

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park. Clean washrooms and laundry room. The showers are $.25/ minute, which is a downer. The employees are very nice and speak fluent English and French. The only down side is some road noise. We were given excellent instructions to drive to a certain parking lot and then take the subway to Old Montreal. This was a perfect way to see Old Montreal and hassle free. We camped at Camping Alouette in a Travel Trailer.

Camping de la Joie, Quebec City, Quebec

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

There are 45 seasonals, but their sites are nice and clean. The transient sites are a real challenge to back into. We had to back uphill over a speed bump and still turn the trailer into the site. They do have an $8.00 shuttle that will take you into Quebec City 4 times a day. Don't drive into Old Quebec. We camped at Camping de la Joie in a Travel Trailer.

Cymbria Campground, Cymbria, Prince Edward Island

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The check in women were extremely nice and knowledgeable. The full hook ups are in a grassy field with good internet and was quiet. The laundry room was small and dirty with cobwebs. The two showers by the office are outdoor wood stalls, so you are literally outside to shower. There is a truck jacked up that looks like its been that way for awhile. The other showers were up a hill. They two have seen better days. Everything is all rusty, cobwebs and not especially clean. The signs for the sites were so weathered that you could hardly read the numbers. We camped at Cymbria Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Dunromin Waterfront Campground & Cabins, Granville Ferry, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park close to Annapolis Royal and Digby. The bay is right next to the park where you can kayak, sit on the side and watch the sail boats. The park has easy access roads. You are parked on gravel with a decent space between rigs. The washrooms are older, but showers were clean. There are plenty of places to walk your dog. We camped at Dunromin Waterfront Campground & Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

Plage St Pierre Beach and Campground, Cheticamp, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park is right by the beach. There are nice trees all around. The sites are somewhat unlevel and tight, but we had nice neighbors. This is close to the Cape Breton National Park entrance. Do not attempt to take your rig on the Cape Breton Trail. Good wifi at the clubhouse. Stock up on groceries before coming to this park. There is only a small Co-op close by for a few last minute items. We camped at Plage St Pierre Beach and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Woodhaven RV Park of Halifax, Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia

We had an excellent site right by the washrooms, laundry and office. The employees are very pleasant. The laundry room was great with several washers and dryers. The washrooms were clean, a little dated, but otherwise was great. Our wifi was perfect. We camped at Woodhaven RV Park of Halifax in a Travel Trailer.

Shore Hills Campground and RV Park, Boothbay, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

We were in the shaded area of the park which was great. Nice space between sites. The bathrooms are old but clean. One shower by the office and two showers by the tent sites. Beautiful marsh sites too. Ladies at the desk were rather grumpy, maybe when we stayed they were having a bad week. We were lucky to have a FHU site. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Saddleback Campground, Northwood, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

This park is mostly either full time summer visitors or permanents. This is an older park with only water and electric, but does have a dump station. The showers are cinder block and are in need of a good scrubbing and painting. The water was hot. One washer and dryer on the honor system. We camped at Saddleback Campground in a Travel Trailer.
