Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $77.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first visit and we absolutely loved it! We already booked our stay for next year and the best part we got to ride through the park to pick the perfect site for next year!! Our site this year #3021 was concrete and roomy. One downfall of this particular site was the wind gusts streaming off of the high rise just above us so we couldn't use our awning a lot. I love the recycling areas! We didn't use the bathhouse, but did peak in one and they are super nice! We are beach goers, but did take a peek at the pool and it seemed small. They are building a water park for next year. Oh and Sandy's Pizza ROCKS!! We had an overall fabulous experience and can't wait for next year! We camped at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

4 Paws Kingdom Campground and Dog Retreat, Rutherfordton, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first stay at Four Paws with our 2 fur babies & we all enjoyed ourselves. There are 4 fenced areas for the babies to run free. One of the areas is private in case you have a non social pet, an area for large breeds and an area small breeds. There is an agility course too. Gravel, spacious, wooded lots with picnic tables and fire pits. Some of the lots had private fenced areas for your pets. The bath house was super nice and even had a pup bath house. There are a ton of poop stations though out the campground. We had a fabulous themed dinner one of our nights and lots of activities for human and pup to participate in. The owners are very friendly & accommodating to everyone's needs. We camped at 4 Paws Kingdom Campground and Dog Retreat in a Travel Trailer.

Buck Hill Campground, Plumtree, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A diamond in the rough, truly God's country. This sweet gem of a place was our most peaceful and relaxing trip so far. Being nestled along the North Toe River provided us the perfect opportunity to enjoy tubing down the river, sunbathing on the shore and enjoying the pristine views of the Western Carolina mountains. Our site was canopied by several large trees and had a well manicured lot, concrete pad and picnic table with easy access to the river, full hookup and very consistent Wi-Fi . Definitely a place we will return to. With a great community atmosphere there is no wonder why so many visitors end up becoming seasonal campers. We camped at Buck Hill Campground in a Travel Trailer.
