Ozarks RV Resort on Table Rock Lake (formerly Outdoor Resorts of the O, Oak Grove, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2006 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

A little ways out of the way but a very pretty drive. It is half way between Eureka Springs and Branson or half hour drive from each. Absolutely one of the prettiest resorts we have ever been to. The lake and view is spectacular. You can see Branson from the new Clubhouse. Many of the lots are privately owned and nicely landscaped. Very friendly owners with weekly activities that the guests are encouraged to attend. Laundry room is clean but too small for the size of this resort. Beaches are great and it is close to a marina. You are welcome to bring your own boat or wave runners. It has a small 9 hole golf course just for fun. Plan on a 20 minute drive to the nearest grocery store and 10 minutes to the closest restaurant. Bring what you are going to need with you. Free Wifi is good but no cable. It is not likely that you will want to leave the resort, but if you do, Branson offers ample entertainment for anyone. We camped at Ozarks RV Resort on Table Rock Lake (formerly Outdoor Resorts of the O in a Motorhome.

Riverbend Motorcoach Resort, LaBelle, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

One of the prettiest resorts you will ever see. Everything is impeccably manicured. All sites have a standard storage building. Beautiful Royal Palms line the streets. Fantastic clubhouse and pool. Everything was spotless. Only negative is that it is a ways away from everything and quite warm during the summer months. Most lots are privately owned but seem to have ample rentals. Worth a stop just to see it. We camped at Riverbend Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

One of our favorite spots. Have stayed here several times. Office staff and lot owners are all very friendly. From beautiful lots to gorgeous resort homes: something for everyone. Lots of activities and amenities. We want to try wintering here when we are both retired. We camped at The Great Outdoors RV Nature & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Sundermeier RV Park, Saint Charles, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2006 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We had heard many good things about the park so stopped there on way thru St. Louis just to see it. The park is easy to pull in and out of. The restaurant is fair. Otherwise, we were very disappointed. The park is very noisy and in what appears to be a blighted area. Looks like a very old lumber yard. Came in late in evening and charged $55 because we had our daughter, son-in-law and their infant baby w/us. Not the worst we have ever stayed at but the worst for the money. Never stay there again. We camped at Sundermeier RV Park in a Motorhome.
