I-35 RV Park, Elm Mott, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Nightly rate based on monthly rate. Our site was not very wide and this is the first park we have had to pay for water at. But it wasn't that high. The highway noise is loud, but we got used to it. There is a cafe that serves a good breakfast every morning for free for nightly and weekly guest. It's $5 for monthly guest. We plan on staying here again as we have a lot of family in the area. We will ask for a wider site next time. We camped at I-35 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Amarillo Ranch RV Park, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Easy in and out. Plenty of room for our 40 ft RV and toad. They must have upgraded the wifi because it is way better than it used to be. Great for overnight stays passing through. Free donuts and coffee for breakfast. Our site had a tree beside us and birds were roosting in it and left poop all over our coach. Next time we will ask for a site without a tree. We camped at Amarillo Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $36.00

Nice park. Very well kept. The pulled pork sandwich for $5 was delicious. The only complaint was the weak wifi where we were parked on the back row. We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort, Creede, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our monthly stay here. Our site was wide and level and utilities easily accessible. The park is well maintained. They have Sunday morning non denominational church services. There are other activities available. We camped on the resort side and the wifi there was very weak. I think it must be better on the park side as there were antennas at various places there. I also like that the park is gated and felt safe. We camped at Mountain Views at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a small grocery store in town and lots of specialty shops. There are lots of four wheel drive trails in the area. North Clear Creek Falls, Bachelor Loop, Last Chance Mine, Alpine Loop in Lake City, are all a must see. MJ's is a great place to eat in Creede. Blue Creek Restaurant between Creede and South Fork is also a great place to eat. Freemons between Creede and Lake City is a good place for breakfast sandwiches and hamburgers.

Tips for other Campers:

Grocery store and several eating places in town. Kalispell is 15 miles from Lakeside for a Walmart and Costco and other shopping and dining out. Glacier National Park west entrance is 45 miles and we only went once because the Going to the Sun road was partially closed because of heavy winter snowfall. If you are planning a trip to Glacier, I recommend checking the road status before you go: https://home.nps.gov/applications/glac/roadstatus/roadstatus.cfm

WYO Campground, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We ended up staying three nights because of the snow. Owner was friendly but didn't stay in the office all day. Looks like a lot of people live there. It was quiet enough even though there is a highway nearby. The roads could use some improvement. Lost power several times, but could have been because of the wind. Okay for overnight stays. We camped at WYO Campground in a Motorhome.
