Dixon May Fair Campground, Dixon, California

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for about two weeks visiting family in the area. The park is very nice and clean with constant upkeep and the office staff were most helpful and friendly. There isn't alot of amenities but then its not a rv park per se, however it is within close distance to anything you would need. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Dixon May Fair Campground in a Motorhome.

We were there for the Reedsport chainsaw competition and spent 4 nights here. Park was everything you would want, clean, comfortable and reasonable. All roads accessible and in great condition. We will definitely be back. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Flycasters RV, Shady Cove, Oregon

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

They said big rigs OK' however unless you want to tear the roof off your RV, I recommend you stay clear of this park. They told us it was a RV park; however, I think we were the only transient RV in the park and judging from the leaf accumulation and low hanging tree branches on all the roads, there hasn't been an overnighter in some time. The staff was friendly, but that is the only nice thing I can say. We damaged our ladder from trees and both entrances are bad, but the south entrance is almost impossible with a RV. The front is accessible, but you will drag branches on the roof. I promise, we will NEVER return. We camped at Flycasters RV in a Motorhome.

Crooked River Ranch RV Park, Crooked River Ranch, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice campground with an excellent golf course. We met up with family from California and Washington, and stayed for a week. The only thing keeping this from a 10 was the few and far between trash deposits. We were in the C loop and it would have been great to have had a container at the middle of the loop, instead of all sites having to go to the start of the loop for trash disposal. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Eugene Kamping World RV Park, Coburg, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for two nights and the price reflects having only w & e. Also we had the Good Sam discount. We didn't need sewer as we were only here two days. We stayed here in early 2006 and have enjoyed our stay both times. The last time there were more RV factories to go through, but there is still plenty to do in the area. We camped at Eugene Kamping World RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bakersfield RV Resort, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: February, 2008 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

I am giving a ten for only the second time in our two years of full time traveling. What this place doesn't have, you don't need. Every thing was perfect including the price which was very reasonable, and the meal at the restaurant was great as was the service. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Bakersfield RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Seligman Route 66 KOA, Seligman, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed overnight on our way west. The staff was very friendly and the park was "OK". I thought it was a little spendy for being out in the middle of nowhere with no amenities unless you want to count the constant passing of trains a very short distance away. They didn't wake me, but when we were awake you could very easily hear them and they came through OFTEN. I doubt I would stay here again. We camped at Seligman Route 66 KOA in a Motorhome.

Albuquerque Central KOA, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Although they had no cable, the antenna was plenty good for several local channels. The WiFi also worked very well. The park is very near I-40 but due to the retaining wall we couldn't hear any traffic. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. We camped at Albuquerque Central KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

West 40 RV Park (CLOSED), Shamrock, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2008 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here overnight and the owner was very friendly and since we were one of two campers due to the time of year we had our choice of sites. The weather was very cold with snow and major wind so we didn't look around too much but the sites seemed plenty wide and they are major long. I got my truck and 39' 5th wheel and could have gotten another one almost as large in behind. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. We camped at West 40 RV Park (CLOSED) in a Fifth Wheel.

Boomland RV Park & Campground, Charleston, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is for the monthly rate of $250. We stayed here for 5 weeks visiting relatives and friends before heading west. Park is nothing special but totally ok for all your needs. There are spots close for shopping and eating plus a nice half mile path around a lake right beside the park. Good exercise source which I used almost every day. We will definitely be back. We camped at Boomland RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here a week, the staff and park were very nice. Sites were big enough and the shade trees were welcome. The close proximity to all attractions makes this a sought after location. The only downside was what I considered extremely high rates, however the other parks in the area may have been the same. I guess this whole area is just overpriced. I didn't pay this much on the high priced west coast and this was the weekly rate. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Diamond Lake Resort, Owensboro, Kentucky

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

After reading the last review I was hesitant to stay here, however since it was a year old and with few options we decided to give it a try. The rate is for the weekly rate and since it was so reasonable we took the weekly rather than the $25 nightly rate. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was great and the park was perfectly situated in the trees. True, some of the sites weren't the best backin angles and some weren't very level from front to back, however many were just fine. Ours was plenty large enough for our 5th wheel with 4 slides and the awning. Due to the park being in a lower area the cell service and pc wireless was not very good, however a short walk up the hill gave us enough cell service to make any calls we needed to make. The park was going all out for the upcoming halloween and many residents were also joining the spirit and had their sites and rigs decorated to the hilt. It is a great place for families with children and although we had no children with us, we sure enjoyed our stay here and will definitely will return. We camped at Diamond Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
