Rivers Edge Mountain RV Resort, Murphy, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Third time we have stayed here in the last eight months. Long pull through, long enough for our MH, towed veh, and another vehicle if we needed it. Paved streets, level pads, nice patio with fire pit. Nice lawns, easy hookups, good electric and cable tv. Had not had cell service before, ATT worked this time. Good WIFI. Stayed for a week this time, enjoyed the area, amazing scenery. We would return. We camped at Rivers Edge Mountain RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Cajun RV Park, Biloxi, Mississippi

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 9 weeks, in three different spaces. One week at the front, all gravel with table, some shade. One month at rear, some grass, some shade, table, very close. One month in middle, much larger space, no shade. All utilities were placed well and worked well. WIFI worked well during week and got much slower on weekends. Showers and restrooms were very clean. Not enough "working" washers and dryers caused delays completing laundry. We started going to a nearby laundry. Cost more, but saved time. The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful, efficient. The location is where most travelers would want to be. Close to the beach, restaurants, casinos, shopping and Walmart. You do hear the train horns, ...loud, the track is less than a block away. Sirens.. loud, a fire station a block away. We would stay here again for the location, but look elsewhere first because of price. We camped at Cajun RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sun Roamers RV Resort, Picayune, Mississippi

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed one night in 40 ft. MH with TV. in a pull though site. The site was plenty long and easily accessible. The utilities work well and were in a good location. WI-FI was poor at our location, so we used ATT hotspot on our telephone. We received numerous tv channels with our antenna. The grounds are very pretty with nice decorations and very large pool. Our pad was gravel with a table, no patio. I believe our site was for transient, as others had nice patios. I would stay again without hesitation. We camped at Sun Roamers RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for one week, in a 40 ft. MH with a towed vehicle. We had a pull through site which was narrow and close to our neighbor. Pad was level gavel, with well placed utilities. We unhooked our vehicle at the entrance, and we were glad we did. Some turns would have been difficult. Our site was on a corner and we saw several large rvs back up to complete the turn. The staff was helpful and maintenance workers were very busy keeping the grounds very pretty. The location to the River Walk is very good with a nearby bus service, which we used. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rivers Edge Mountain RV Resort, Murphy, North Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

First time we stayed in our motor home. We stayed for 3 nights. We had contact with three staff members and all were pleasant and helpful. We were shown to our site and assisted in parking. The grounds were clean and well trimmed. The spaces and lots were the largest and best planned we have encountered. Cable and wifi worked well. No problems entering or leaving in our 40 ft. MH. There were several MH/ buses staying which were larger than ours. We didn't have ATT service in the park but did immediately upon entering the nearby highway. We camped at Rivers Edge Mountain RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Red Gate Campground & RV Resort, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Easiest back-in site and hookups we have encountered. Flat, white rock sites, very long with plenty of parking. Okay space between sites. Very pet friendly, with lots of open area to walk our dog. Very clean sites with fire pits and tables. Rest rooms and showers could have been cleaner. Grounds were pretty. Nice pool and nice views of lakes. A pretty good walk to pool, showers, laundry and garbage. Wi-Fi started working about half way through our stay, but was very weak and very slow. Close to town, very easy drive. We camped at Red Gate Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Camp RiversLanding, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Nice people, clean rest rooms, pool, clean campground, easy access to and from. Gravel site a little unlevel, about 2 inches up and could have used more blocks. Good areas to walk our dog. Sites had fire rings, but ours couldn't be used due to close proximity of our neighbor. Wi-fi at our site was non-existent. Our site was plenty large for our 29 ft. trailer and truck. This is a nice park but not a resort and not a 10, but we would return. We camped at Camp RiversLanding in a Travel Trailer.

The good: price; long pull through sites; easy access; friendly, helpful staff, pet friendly, and level sites. The bad: dogs running loose, and no tables at sites. The ugly: Nasty restrooms and showers. Because of the good, I would stay again. We camped at Cajun Haven RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Check in was fast, every employee was helpful and friendly. We were shown to our site, which was gravel, long, very wide and level. The restrooms and showers were spotless and very well maintained. Very good WiFi and the cable television had numerous channels. The hookups were appropriately placed. Lots of trees, squirrels and a very nice pool and dog exercise area. The park was decorated very nicely. Nice tables and a fire ring at each site. We didn’t notice the freeway noise while inside, but it was noticeable while outside. We would stay here again. We camped at Manchester KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed two nights to do a little sight-seeing. The check-in was very easy with a very friendly, helpful employee. We were lead to our site and assisted in parking. Our site didn't have a table but the escort brought one within minutes. Every employee was friendly. The site was gravel and flat with no grass. However there is alot of grassy areas along the fence to walk your dog. The sites were very long but close. The showers and restrooms were very clean. I would stay here again under similar circumstances. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Winnemucca / I-80 KOA (formerly I-80 Winnemucca), Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 1 night. As others have stated, very dusty and very close spaces. Our 27’ TT and 20’ truck were in the road on both ends of the pull through space. Nice pool, very efficient staff and we were guided to our space and helped with parking. A lot of permanent RVs and most were shabby. The restrooms / showers were clean, but not private. The staff was very helpful and efficient. Exiting our space was close due to vehicles parked at the edge of the road. No grass and very little shade. If passing though we may stay again for a night. We camped at Winnemucca / I-80 KOA (formerly I-80 Winnemucca) in a Travel Trailer.
