Washington State Park, De Soto, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Park only had about 4 walk up sites and the rest you need to reserve in advance. All the pads (that I noticed) were paved and mostly shaded. Not a big park but is well maintained and the camp hosts were very friendly. The park has a pool and has 1 river access (gets crowded on weekends) and a few nice trails (would be a nice hike in the fall). AT&T Cell service was excellent, did not detect any park WiFi and HD antenna picked up most channels (including FOX, CBS, NBC, PBS, CW and ABC) We camped at Washington State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There is also a park store, with small restaurant and also a gas station and Dollar General right outside the park entrance.

St Francois State Park, Bonne Terre, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

I really enjoy this state park, very close to my house and has a river that you can swim or fish in and trails you can hike. Park is great for family and pets throughout the RV year. No WiFi (that I know of) and cell is fair to spotty but the spots closer to the entrance get better cell coverage. HD antenna picks up the fox, CBS and sometimes NBC. We camped at St Francois State Park in a Travel Trailer.
