Ok park nothing special. The sites were gravel but level. Bathrooms just ok, small and mostly clean. All the services worked well. We camped at Bandon By The Sea RV Park in a Motorhome.

Harborview Inn & RV Park, Garibaldi, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Gravel but level sites. The front row is best for viewing the bay. All services worked well. The bathrooms were great (but only two) and were cleaned twice per day. We camped at Harborview Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Marina just next door. Short walk to restaurants etc. Not much to Garibaldi but lots to explore both north and south.

Did the Three Capes Scenic Drive to see lighthouse and lots of great beaches.

Stop in Oceanside and eat at Rosanne's. It's overlooking the beach and good food.

Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park, Astoria, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park in convenient location for exploring the Astoria area. Pull in site facing the golf course with nice view. Clean restrooms and showers which is a must for us. The sites are gravel but level and enough room for slides and picnic table. All the services work well. Seems the best park in the area. Only negative is the golf course. Nine hole course, paid for 18, played 8 and went home. Save your money, not worth playing if you are anything above a beginner. We camped at Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Management was helpful in getting to the park (don't listen to gps) and in making restaurant recommendations. Bow Picker, Coffee Girl, Arnie's etc. and get the "Phone" chowder at Northwest Wild Products which has only a small table inside but wonderful fresh food. Columbia River Maritime Museum is a must. Also Ft. Clatsop, Ft. Stevens State Park, Flavil Museum, Astoria Column, the Trolley along the riverwalk, Pier 39, Cape Disappointment, two lighthouses, several great drives.

StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community, Blanchard, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $69.00
Overall Rating:

Like other reviews, beautiful grounds and well spaced sites. Most are owned units but the developer rents out the unsold sites. The only phone service is Verizon. No ATT period. Wifi is available only in the clubhouse. You will not get it at your site unless your are in a site right next to the clubhouse. Very nice clubhouse which I walked to every morning to check email etc. This park is very remote and not much to do here except golf, pickleball or swim. The grill at the golf clubhouse is the only restaurant available. Golf course was good. We would not stay here again. Too remote and no phone or wifi. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Blackwell Island RV Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This could be such a terrific park....but isn't. Good location and clean bathrooms are the ONLY things going for it. Bad landscaping, dirt, weeds, sprinklers going everywhere but the grass and TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE wifi. For a large park in a great city this is not acceptable. There are only 4-5 sites with river views. The others that they claim are "on the river" are just facing the river but with a wall of trees in between. Maybe there are no better rv park options in the area, I don't know, but if you have a choice don't stay here. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Swiftwater RV Park & Store, White Bird, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Nice small park right on the Salmon River. Very clean bathrooms although they are not air conditioned. We had two days where temperature was at 100 and bathrooms were HOT. Friendly hosts. Wifi fairly slow but ok. No cell service but host let us use the land line. Not much else here but quiet river setting. Would stay again if in the area. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We used River Adventures out of Riggins for a Hells Canyon jet boat ride. Spectacular. New beautiful boat. They will pick you up right in the campground and bring you back safe and sound. On the river we saw deer, eagle, big horn sheep, for huge rams, osprey, and a forest fire.

McCall RV Resort, McCall, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Our second stay here and still very good. Everything clean and well maintained. The clubhouse with indoor pool/hot tub is nice. Our only negative is inability to connect to satelite tv. Many sites have trees that block your signal and the cable tv is somewhat limited. No HLN no HGTV etc. and ALL are analog....not high def and not even digital. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Mountain Home RV Park, Mountain Home, Idaho

Very nice park with excellent interior roads and lots of space between sites. Also a little fence beside each utility hookup so you don't have to watch your neighbor's sewer. Nice touch. Finally, very nice, clean individual bathrooms. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Motorhome.

Iron Horse RV Resort, Elko, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with clean restrooms, ample parking and good location. Only two negative comments. The back-in sites are very slanted. Bring lots of leveling blocks or your front wheels will be 4-6 inches off the ground. Also the wifi was very spotty. Overall would stay again. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Use the discount cards provided by Iron Horse RV Park at the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel was nice with good food, and you can use their wifi as the campground wifi is not so good. Also the Ruby View Golf course is one of the best, small town municipal courses I have found. If you golf, go there.

Sparks Marina RV Park, Sparks, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Level, cement pads, artificial grass between sites. Spacing was good between sites. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Nice small lake with walking path and park less than two blocks away. The bathrooms were excellent and very clean. I don't know what that other reviewer is talking about. This is a nice place. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

As KOA's go this was one of the nicest. The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Our site on the front row had a nice view of surrounding mountains. There was only one restroom for the entire park but it was clean and well kept. We camped at Ely KOA in a Motorhome.

Whispering Elms Campground, Baker, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Needs a lot of work. Weeds over a foot tall, trash overflowing in bathrooms, bathrooms were not clean and we never saw anyone cleaning them. Wifi was very spotty, working on part time. The ONLY thing this park has going for it is the location close to Great Basin National Park. We camped at Whispering Elms Campground in a Motorhome.

Plan ahead and make reservations for the Cave tours as they tend to sell out. Also the cafe at the Visitor Center is nice. Limited menu but nice. No place decent in Baker so bring your own food.

Emerald Desert RV Resort, Palm Desert, California

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

Don't understand most recent review from others. We stayed two weeks plus in late Sept. to early Oct. 2016 and loved it. We have stayed here several times and each time came away very pleased. The pool, showers, grounds etc. all in wonderful condition. Wifi worked well, TV worked well. Excellent RV park and glad to have stayed there. PS. we already have our reservation for 2017. Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort, Sisters, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful grounds, clean bathrooms, plenty of space between sites. One HUGE PROBLEM. The wifi is very, very slow to dead. The guy in the office told me it must be "sun spots." (Either he is an idiot or thinks I am.) What a joke. For a 5 Star resort to have this kind of wifi service is TERRIBLE. Also be aware of crowing roosters, ducks, geese, etc., from the Secret Garden that will awaken you at 4:30 am every morning. We camped at Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Coloma Resort, Coloma, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Dust and dirt. The restrooms were not cleaned very often and were dirty. The park is right on the river and if you are there to tube, should be good. If not, don't stay there except maybe one night to visit Marshall gold discovery park and visitor center. The road into the park is very twisty and not worth doing unless you want to stay and tube the river. Constant stream of tubers going down the river and then back up through the campground to start over again. IF YOU ARE NOT THERE TO TUBE-DON'T GO. We camped at Coloma Resort in a Motorhome.
