Grand Sierra Resort RV Park, Reno, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Park is getting a little run down since KOA took over management, not near as green and clean as it was when operated by the Hilton or Balley's and over twice the price. Still nicely located with wide and easily accessed spaces. Walking distance to the casino and restaurants. We have been staying at this park for 30 years. We camped at Grand Sierra Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Virginian Lodge RV Resort, Jackson, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Park is a bit tight to get in and out of, spaces are narrow. The management runs a clean and quiet park though and its very well located to the main town area. Excellent restaurants nearby. Sites are level. We have stayed here 5 times, each time we enjoyed it. We camped at The Virginian Lodge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Saguaro RV Park, Jackpot, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

The RV park was poorly marked for access as we were directed into an "upper" parking area where there was no registration facility so I registered in the casino and was directed to the "lower" area and given a space number to park in. I proceeded to that space, parked my rig and walked back to the office (as I was told to do) and there was nobody there. As it turned out the attendant came down another aisle and went to my rig, was very rude to my wife and daughter as to why I was parked there. At that time I arrived back at my rig and the attendant and I had an unpleasant discussion and he finally phoned the front office who confirmed what I had told him and he then turned back to me with his bellyaching. I cannot recommend this facility to anyone based on the incompetence of their park manager. The park itself was OK, had shuttle service to the casino, but thats about it. We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Cove RV Resort (formerly Riviera RV Resort and Marina), Blythe, California

Date of Stay: January, 2005 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here and visited Quartzsite from here. The sites are narrow, hard to navigate and poorly marked. The "front" row is on the Colorado river and pretty nice. A bit over-priced for the space and area. We camped at The Cove RV Resort (formerly Riviera RV Resort and Marina) in a Motorhome.

Shady Lane RV Park, Quartzsite, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2004 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This was the worst park we ever stayed in. During the Quartzite show, management squeezed the sites down to half size and parked 2 RV's in one site. No room for awnings, slideouts, tow dolly's, etc. Sites were dirty and noisy. Management was less then pleasant. Pass this one up. We stayed here in a motorhome. We camped at Shady Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.
