Bass Lake RV Campground, Dillon, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 7 weeks. The campground is quiet and pet friendly. It is not a resort, read, no pool, no cable so not lots of kids - perfect for us. The owners live on site and are very attentive. We loved our stay. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Cedar Grove RV Park, Ames, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 3 months. The campground was mostly used by long termers, possibly oil field workers. The wifi was terrible, cable is extra and expensive and the roads were rough. There are farms on both sides, but the chicken farm seems to spill over into the campground - they roam all over. The restroom (only one is available to the campers and is often locked) was filthy. Shower, also filthy, was in with the restroom. On the plus side, all of the staff was great - very nice - very friendly. We camped at Cedar Grove RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Check out the Liberty Opry - a quaint local take on the Grand Old Opry. Also catch Casa Don Bonnie's and Jax Burgers.
