Absaroka Bay RV Park, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean, but very tight. Good place to park if you are here to see Cody or Yellowstone and don't plan to spend a lot of time in camp. Site was barely long enough to get our 42 foot coach in and have room to park the jeep sideways in front. Staff was friendly. Wouldn't be our first choice, but we would stay here again. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure and go to the Irma Hotel or the Chop House if looking for a place for dinner. Both were excellent.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice facility, but pricey. Nearly $70 a night with taxes and a Good Sam discount. Very well maintained and staff was friendly and helpful. Our site was a bit tighter than some, but still plenty of room to get your awning out and not feel cramped. We had room for our Jeep Rubicon behind our 42 foot motor home. Excellent location for a trip to Yellowstone. Only 2 miles to the West entrance and West Yellowstone is a nice town to visit. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit Quake Lake north of town. Very interesting site and memorial to the victims of the 1959 earthquake that caused a landslide killing several campers and forming Quake Lake. Beautiful drive to the area. Only a 30-35 minute drive.

Highline Trail RV Park, Boulder, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with very wide and very long pull thru sites. Had no problem with our 42 foot coach and tow vehicle. Utilities were a bit spread out. We were as far back as we could be and still reach the electric, but would not have been able to dump without moving the coach. Other than that, very nice place for an overnight in route to the Yellowstone area. People were very friendly. Some full timers, but not many. Sites very spread out with lots of room and good views of the mountains. Believe them when they say they get high winds. Got caught in 42 mph gusts on our way into the park, but they died down as fast as they came up. We would stay here again. We camped at Highline Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ennis RV Village, Ennis, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with nice long sites and reasonable room between sites. Sites were level and had nice picnic tables. Sites also had two sewer hookups so you could use the one closest to your outlet. We would stay here again. Nice view of the Madison river valley. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Motorhome.

Laramie KOA, Laramie, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We pulled in for an overnight stay. This is one of the tightest KOAs we've stayed in. Told them several times we needed a long site for our 42' motor home and tow vehicle so that we wouldn't have to unhook. They put us in about a 50' site though they seem to have several that are longer. Sites are so close together that our electrical hookup is within inches of our neighbors stairs. Would only provide wifi for two devices and, while they advertise cable, you don't actually get it at the site, you have to go ask them for a box and remote. Glad it is just one night. We camped at Laramie KOA in a Motorhome.

J & C RV Park, Alliance, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Small, very clean and neat park. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Stayed one night. Total was $39 after tax for 50 amp, water, sewer, cable and wifi. Near the Burlington Northern rail yard, but noise was not a problem. Would highly recommend if you need a place to stay in the area. We camped at J & C RV Park in a Motorhome.
