Linden City Park, Linden, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This was a gravel parking lot with hookups. Great for overnight if you are traveling instead of a Wal mart. The city park is by the lot and is well kept. We have stayed here twice. The only problem we had was we needed to pay in town which was several blocks away and we don't unhook. We camped at Linden City Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Whispering Hills RV Park, Georgetown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The road in was very narrow. The park was well maintained and the staff was very nice and helpful. They golf carted us to our site and when we requested one with grass they moved us to another. The sites are very close but maneuverable. We will continue to stay here to and from family visits. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Coopers RV Park, Clayton, North Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is based on the monthly rate. The park was the best maintained park we have ever stayed at. The owner was very helpful and approachable. Everyone in the park was friendly. Dogs were on leashes and mostly picked up after. There are some permanents but there homes are well kept. I will be going back to this park. We camped at Coopers RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Santee / Santee Lakes KOA (formerly Santee Lakes Campground), Summerton, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a fisherman's campground. Many of the campers was permanent and was cluttered. Because of the looks of the park we were concerned about safety, but we had no problem. The sites had ruts and was not level. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a nice park by the lake that we were able to walk our dogs. We will not stay here again. We camped at Santee / Santee Lakes KOA (formerly Santee Lakes Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Kelly's Countryside RV Park, Callahan, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We loved the park. We don't use a lot of amenities offered at some of the parks so this worked well for us. The other residents of the park were very friendly and the park felt really safe. The manager was very helpful and went out of the way to help. There were some activities provided. The park was well maintained. There was some road noise where our site was. They had a dog run for our dogs. We stayed for 2 months in a fifth wheel. We camped at Kelly's Countryside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Volunteer Park Family Campground, Heiskell, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We were here for overnight twice on our way to and from North Carolina. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. They had a pool but we did not use. It was clean and well kept. There were no dogs without leashes. They did have a nature walk to walk your dog as long as you pick up after them.

We will stay again when passing through. We camped at Volunteer Park Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

North Carolina State Fairgrounds Campground, Raleigh, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The park was very comfortable, and quiet. We stayed for 5 days. The leash policy needed to be enforced, and so did the clean up policy. We were here during a horse show. The first couple days there were only a few campers but the last 3 days the campgrounds were almost full. Many dogs running without a leash and not all owners picked up after their pets. The electric was out for a day during our stay. We will stay here again when visiting family. We camped at North Carolina State Fairgrounds Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
