West Canada Creek Campsites, Poland, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The sites were very spacious and clean. Most of the park is covered in pine trees, the other part is open grassy areas. There is fishing in the creek, and fishing supplies at the store. They have a shuttle service to go tubing down the river, with tube rental available. We went in the bigining of the week and there was minimal campers. They do have seasonal campers which were equally nice sites. Firewood was available, and a ice cream shop on site that also did some hot food. Staff was friendly and accommodating when we couldn't arrive until after office hours. We camped at West Canada Creek Campsites in a Motorhome.

Bar Harbor RV Park & Marina, Abingdon, Maryland

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We made a reservation over the phone. They picked out a site based on our size, 40ft. It was perfect for backing out. Great view of the harbor as well. We were a day late but that was no issue for them. Sites were very close, but there was room for a picnic table, fire ring, and concrete slab for the picnic table. They had a special area for parking your trailer and car which was perfect for us. Definite plus. We camped at Bar Harbor RV Park & Marina in a Motorhome.

Friendship Village Campground , Bedford, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We needed a one night stay on our way to Baltimore. We had driven all day to beat a timeline we had. I made a quick call at 8pm to see if they had any place we park for the night. The area we were in had very limited campgrounds so we couldn't get there until 9:45 and we were 65ft long. We had a 40ft Prevost motohome pulling a car trailer. We were willing to detach but they were determined to find us a spot so we could keep attach as we were on a time crunch and would actually be back on the road by 7am. They put us up next to a shed with electric so we could run the air conditioners. It was really late but the guy helped us back in to the spot and said if we wanted there was a sewer hook up if we needed to dump. They were so accommodating and friendly I wish we could have stayed. The regular sites were good sized, all hookup options available. Very family friendly. They had a nice store with all the occasional camping needs. The drive from the highway was a bit confusing but was occasionally marked with a campground sign just as you would start to wonder if you were going the right way. Once there it was easy. I would definitely come here if we were in the area. They definitely loved what they do, and are willing to help. We camped at Friendship Village Campground in a Motorhome.
