River's Edge RV & Cabins Resort, Evansville, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This was an excellent one-night stop on our way to Yellowstone. The service at the front desk is helpful and friendly. The sites themselves are gravel with a square of astro turf. You can also walk down by the river. Children enjoyed the game room with pool and foosball. Laundry facilities were adequate. We camped at River's Edge RV & Cabins Resort in a Motorhome.

Raton Pass Camp and Cafe (Formerly Cedar Rail), Raton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is an excellent and convenient stop off I-25 with a beautiful mountain view. Spots are close together so maneuvering can be tight. However, we were happy with our pull-through spot and full hook-ups. There was no store or cafe during our visit despite the name, but the staff was helpful and kind. Wi-Fi is limited. We will definitely return here next time we are in the area. We camped at Raton Pass Camp and Cafe (Formerly Cedar Rail) in a Motorhome.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $115.00
Overall Rating:

This is our second time to experience Fort Wilderness and we absolutely loved it. Check-in is efficient and the staff is top-notch. There is a bus system within the park that makes it easy to visit the shops, pools, playgrounds, restaurants, and other amenities within this large park. Likewise, transportation is provided from Fort Wilderness to other Disney locations. Each loop has a comfort station with showers and laundry. The washers and dryers now accept credit cards only--no cash. There are trash cans and recycling bins on each loop as well. The premium site was large and level with a picnic table. Free and paid activities within the resort include outdoor movies, crafts, pin trading, Segway tours, horseback riding, boating, and dinner shows. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Lafayette KOA, Scott, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

This was a great one-night stop for us. It appears to be a very popular place for locals during the summer. The two pools were packed. However, we got a quiet site in the back of the park on the lake. We enjoyed feeding the ducks and watching the paddleboats on the water. Our site had a large tree that hung out over the water creating shade. There was a fire pit just a few feet from the water's edge. I do believe there are some permanent residents in this park. It is older but well kept. Cable was an extra $3. We camped at Lafayette KOA in a Motorhome.

Big Oak RV Park, Tallahassee, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived here at 10 pm with no reservations and were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. After a long day of driving we were pleasantly surprised to be escorted to our site in the dark by a staff member in a golf cart. Be prepared to pay with cash after hours. We arrived late and left early so I cannot speak to the amenities or lack of them. There did appear to be permanent residents in the park but they were neat and clean. The large oaks were beautiful. I would stay here again for a quick stop off I-10. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lakeside RV Park, Livingston, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This is a clean, upscale RV resort. It is a perfect stop close to I-10. We only stopped for one night but my family would have enjoyed additional time there. The pool is clean. My children enjoyed the well-kept game room and lounge. There is so much attention to detail--including a lovely garden area by the office. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Panama City Beach RV Resort, Panama City Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

This is a clean and well-kept RV park so close to the beach. We walked across the main street from the park to the public beach. It was wonderful and we would definitely return. This is a fun place because it is right in the city and walking distance to restaurants and souvenir shops. We camped at Panama City Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.
