KOC Kampground, New Iberia, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The site was a pull-through on grass. We had to use leveling blocks due to the uneven area. We arrived late and had a hard time finding the site. They are not in any type of numerical order. The staff were extremely helpful and allowed us to stay after checkout time so we could tour Avery Island and the local sites. They recommended local favorite restaurants and we weren't disappointed. We camped at KOC Kampground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Avery Island: McIelleney Tabasco Factory, Jungle Gardens

Bon Creole Lunch Counter (Shrimp Po'Boy and Bread Pudding dessert were delicious!) Local diner, not much to look at but worth the food, it was busy while we were there.

Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here on the way to Louisiana and on the way back. We had a pull-through site which was fairly level for being dirt packed/pea gravel. The site had plenty of room to accommodate our parking and the hoses. We had a large shade tree. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The exit #/directions were accurate. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
