Priest Gulch Campground & RV Park, Dolores, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here every year since 2009. It is a little piece of HEAVEN. I cannot discribe how beautiful and peaceful this place is. We had a campfire every night so I am glad they provide the park with plenty of firewood. Our normal stay is 4 to 6 weeks and always dread leaving. This park is by far our number one destination but you have to reserve very early!!! Be sure to take plenty of food....there are very few places to eat that are reasonable close. We do all our own cooking except for occasional trips to Cortez. We camped at Priest Gulch Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

For a truly breakfast delight go up to Rico (about 10 miles up the mountain) to eat at High Altitude. YUMMMMMMY...the bean barrito is to die for!!!

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this beautiful place every year since it opened. Have NEVER been disappointed. The grounds are kept natural but clean but if you have specific request for attention to your site you get IMMEDIATE action from staff. Our site was Iris 6. It has a patio on either side of the RV which makes it nice to watch the fantastic sunsets. Only a few minutes from the Road Runner train service to downtown or other towns on the rail line. It has easy access to downtown by car also. We look forward to many more visits. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you love good food....dont miss eating at Pasqual's downtown. Its an eating experience. Also recommend Tia Sophia's for lunch but be prepared for a short wait.
