We had 6 nights scheduled... We had plans to stay for 2 nights in #45, dry, and 4 nights in #11, full hook-ups. This is what was available. The first 2 nights were great, but when we went to go into spot 11 was absolutely ridiculous.. It was so tight you could not at all fit in this spot. The clearance was not even 8 ft. You could of fit a smaller Rv, but ours is 34ft class A. The road was so tight and right alongside the road was a brick wall they placed to make it look better, so you had no way to pull up and back in. Not only the width was terrible, but everyone had to park their cars half on the road which made it even tighter. The fire ring used to be brick, but now it's all broke down from where People had run into it. By no means am I a visitor in the area, I am a local and have been camping here for years, but thought I would try this Rv park. I asked my friends, who own a business in Bodega, and said no one that size could fit in that spot... I went to the see the officer worker to explain to her that we could not fit and see if we could just stay in spot #45. The older lady in the office rolled her eyes and said you can't fit, as she laughed while rolling her eyes. We were told that they would settle up on the price difference later. The next day I went to the office and said we would be leaving 2 days early for family emergency. She rolled her eyes again and said no we don't give refunds with such a short notice. I figured that was fine I didn't even care at this point, but she would see if they could give me back the difference which was around 15.00/per night from dry to hook-up. I am sure I won't hear back from that older lady, but her attitude and professionalism really was bad. I cannot believe their customer service flat out sucks.. I know customer service because I work in a leadership position in a major hospital in the area. If people treat customers this bad you will not come back again. We camped at Porto Bodega Marina and RV Park in a Motorhome.
The best place for fish and ships is the Boathouse. I loved their clam chowder, also. The prices are cheap with great taste.
