Benton Oaks RV & Campground, Corvallis, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

I was here to move my son out of OSU at the end of the school year. Due to graduation and prior reservations, I was in the full hookup, lot B, the first night then had to move to the open gravel overflow water and power only, lot E, the next two nights. B sites were gravel and were not level. I needed three to four blocks under the front wheels just to get close. Online reservations were fast and easy but the onsite host, Ken, was non-existent. I had to call the listed number three times just to get the wifi and bathroom codes. Keep calling because he doesn't return calls. Bathrooms, although heavily used, were fairly clean. Free Wifi was over taxed. The host lets you know from the get go that it doesn't work and that "there's nothing I can do about it." The open no shade overflow E lot ($7 less per night) is the gravel lot on the other side of the fairgrounds. There are no bathrooms here and you have to walk through the fairgrounds to get to them. Luckily only every other space in this lot was occupied or else it would have been parking lot tight. You're in the fairgrounds, what do you expect. It's about a 1 1/2 mile walk on the walking / biking path to OSU or just a short drive away. I wouldn't stop here again. We stayed here in a motorhome. We camped at Benton Oaks RV & Campground in a Motorhome.

RV Park at Rolling Hills Casino, Corning, California

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed as an overnight stop. Our gravel site was clean, fairly level and the water pressure was very strong (you will need a pressure regulator). The bathrooms and showers were in the "travel clubhouse" which was a short walk, not far but definitely not close. They were very clean and constantly maintained. These facilities were shared by the truckers but were not busy at all. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Check in was fast but the free Wi-Fi was very weak if not nonexistent. You have to walk close to the casino for the Wi-Fi to work. If you go, the RV entrance is just before you get to the Chevron gas station. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at RV Park at Rolling Hills Casino in a Motorhome.

Oakridge RV Park, Oakridge, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for week while mountain biking the area. The gravel sites were level, good shade, and strong water pressure. Half of the grass was dry due to drought and watering restrictions. The 36 channels of cable were clear and ok wifi. Bathroom were dated but fairly clean. It's next to the main highway but pretty much no traffic or noise at night. Occasional train horns though the city on the hill above us at night. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. We had additional friends come into town that were going to tent camp down the road. Owners let them tent camp on the separate green grassy areas for $10 a night ea. with access to all facilities. It's next door to the Oakridge Motel. Salmon creek was flowing good right next to the property and Greenwaters Park just across the bridge. If you're here to mountain bike and don't want to dry camp, this is central to the whole town. We would stay here again. We camped at Oakridge RV Park in a Motorhome.
