Magnolia Springs RV Hideaway & Golf Resort, Foley, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

As others noted, service here not exactly stellar. Owner rarely available, office hours erratic, unreliable. Basic park. WiFi censor ware used to block many regular sites, not to prevent streaming. We accessed You Tube, streamed Netflix fine. We camped at Magnolia Springs RV Hideaway & Golf Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

For those interested, outlet mall nearby. Awful choice of grocery stores in Foley. Gulf Shores very close, but we were put off by having to pay to park anywhere near beach.

Bolding Mill COE, Gainesville, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We had a beautiful, pine wooded, spacious site overlooking Lake Lanier. Elec & water only. Excellent cell coverage. Stayed 14 days, would have been longer if allowed! Would give 5 stars if it had full hookups. Tricky back in site, down hill, but site itself was level. And our side patio door opened out to the lake view! Shop before going in, its a long drive to groceries. We camped at Bolding Mill COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Gunter Hill COE, Montgomery, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, well maintained, new, level concrete pads. Full hookups! No wifi. Busy park, lots of families. Also, lots of boat noise & auto racetrack right next to park very loud on weekends. Quiet during week. Great access to Montgomery area civil rights museums & civil rights historic sites, which is why we camped here. We camped at Gunter Hill COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Fort Pickens Campground, Pensacola, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Ft Pickens beaches are absolutely gorgeous, but campground & park is badly neglected. Also, an older white male park ranger who worked gate was wildly inappropriate in comments about "disabled campers from Louisiana" whom he deemed "cheaters", complained about Access Pass holders "ruining it for everyone" Really unprofessional. All other rangers & park police fine. They need to ban canpers out of control lighting, it was like camping on Vegas strip. We camped at Fort Pickens Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We drove to wonderful food coop in Pensacola called Everman, shopped at island Publix. We found restaurants in area to be mediocre at best, so shopped for irganics & did our own cooking.
