Lake Loramie State Park, Minster, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a hidden gem in Ohio. Very nice, quiet park in rural Ohio. Ft. Laramie and Minster are also great rural towns to visit.

Campground is kept very clean, restrooms are nice and clean. Camp spots are very nicely spaced. We camped at Lake Loramie State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Grand Lake St Marys State Park, Saint Marys, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Nice state park. Everything is wet right now, but that is not their fault. It has rained for abut a month straight up here. But a nice campground, well kept, clean restrooms. We camped at Grand Lake St Marys State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Amish Country Campsites, Winesburg, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Very nicely kept campground. Some people commented how quiet it is and that you can hear horse buggies pass. Not really correct on that note. You are very close to a State Road, very heavily traveled, however, that is not a reason to stop you from staying here.

Very well maintained. Sights are reasonable spaced, typical for a small private campground. They have nice fire rings at each site and free local wood for burning. Many shaded sites. Bathroom are very, very clean. I would highly recommend. We camped at Amish Country Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

Mohican State Park is a very nice place. Right on the Mohican River. We arrived after three days of MONSOON rain. Park recovered very nicely. All new pavement, and many sites are being upgraded. All pluses!!! We camped at Mohican State Park in a Travel Trailer.
