Las Vegas RV Resort , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed just one night. Asked for and rec'd a pull through. Site was next to a major road within the park so had to unhook toad in order to fit. Site was very narrow and shade trees are non-existent. Did not use the pool and other services, wifi was OK. Not a place that I would choose to spend a week or longer if I had other choices. We stayed in a Class A Motorhome. We camped at Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Needles Marina Park, Needles, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Site was a pull-through. Utilities actually located forward enough that we did not have to unhook. The park seems divided by the entry street. The south side is mobile homes, the north side facing the boat launch ramp is for RV's. There are no amenities at all. It is just a huge parking lot. No trees, no landscaping. It would have been nice if they would have told us that the water was going to be turned off from midnight to 10 the next morning for some repairs. But for the fact that our Ice Maker was having problems that my wife walked back to pick up a sack that she noticed the sign. So we topped off our water tank to allow for morning showers as we needed to get an early start. I really felt overcharged for what we got. I am sure the park has several hundred spots and I doubt if there were 10 other RV's staying there, as without some shade and the fact that it was well over 100 degrees when we checked in it was after midnight that the AC got it cool enough to sleep. If in the area again, I would try to find another place to stay. We camped at Needles Marina Park in a Motorhome.

Lost Hills RV Park (formerly Lost Hills Campground), Lost Hills, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed just one night while heading back to Phoenix. Park is easy to get in/out, right off I-5. Right next to Pilot Truck Stop but did not hear any noise. Park is all dirt with just a few trees. Because it is all dirt. I can imagine it would be a mud bog if it rained. Probably would not stay again if I had a choice. Kind of funny that the manager makes a big show of giving her cell number and assuring she is available 24/7, but when I called 10 minutes later asking if my toad would be OK as it hung out slightly it just went to voicemail. Just decided to unhook rather than wait for a call-back. We camped at Lost Hills RV Park (formerly Lost Hills Campground) in a Motorhome.

Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort (Formerly Outdoor Resorts), Newport, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $115.00
Overall Rating:

This is a first for me. In writing this review I got stopped after inputting the price by getting a little pop-up from RV Park Review saying "are you sure you entered the amount correctly?" Well, yes. I'm sure, but thanks for asking! Yes it is the most expensive rate we have ever paid, but as others have said it is for class A or Class C only. All sites are individually owned therefore each site has it's own amenities. We were in site 188 which is the front row with an unobstructed view of the ocean. Totally awesome to get up in the morning and open the front shades to an amazing ocean view! We had a glass wall to break the wind so could sit out in the provided chairs and stare at the ocean. I am told interior lots are less costly. There is a private pathway down to the ocean with view points along the way. Will definitely come back, but may not choose such an expensive site. Should note that as we were at the far end the wifi was somewhat spotty but still usable to look up things to do etc. Also included is Cable TV. We stayed in a Class A Motorhome. We camped at Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort (Formerly Outdoor Resorts) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Newport is only a mile away. You can see the lighthouse from the Park but well worth the 5 minute drive to get there and go through the visitor center. If you have a National Parks Pass you get in free. Another great place to visit is Depoe Bay where you can visit the "worlds smallest harbor"

Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort, Sisters, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

The rate entered was the lesser amount as we hit on a season rate change. The higher rate was $55.00. As others have said the wifi is terrible. Get up early to use it while most people are still asleep. The only other negative I can think of is the spots along the highway are probably pretty noisy, which might comprise 10% of the park. Other than that this park is fantastic! We were in spot 84 which is a pull in and had a great view of the lake. The landscaping is beautiful, the roads are well laid out, and you are guided to your spot and assisted in parking. Trash is picked up several times a day, and the staff really makes you feel appreciated. We will definitely be back. We camped at Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pheasant Ridge RV Resort, Wilsonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean Park. However, for our 45' RV the streets are narrow. In fact this is the first park we have ever stayed in the even though we had a pull through site, we had to back out onto a slightly wider road to get out when leaving. We stayed 2 nights and arrived home after dark each night after being with family during the day. There are no street lights so it was hard finding our site in the darkness. Another very strange thing is in the brochure it has in big letters "NO MACERATORS!" Well, good luck with that as that is our only way to dump so I did. I didn't feel guilty as if they had said something when we called for reservations we would have stayed elsewhere. Another complaint we had was that almost all the sites are terraced. But only a few were terraced enough to allow chairs along the side of your RV. Most people had to put their chairs out in front or behind their RV in order to have somewhere to sit. No picnic tables. Most of the Park is well shaded which was nice. Wifi was decent as was the cable TV. Both were included in the basic cost. Would probably stay here again only next time would be sure to have a regular sewer hose. We camped at Pheasant Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice Park. Lots are terraced so easy to level. All sites had a picnic table, and grass. Very quiet and peaceful. Owners even have a veggie garden and you can help your self to anything that's ready. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Pleasant RV Park, Bothell, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is really a wonderful place to stay. I can only think of one downside and that is their wifi arrangement. You get only one hour per day and it must be used at exactly the same hour every day. After that you can sign up and pay by the hour or day. Why not just raise the price to stay by $5.00 and let it be included? Other than that it is very scenic with small lakes within. Easy access to all that Seattle has to offer. Will definitely stay again. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Suntides Golf Course RV Park, Yakima, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Nice place. Close in to do things in Yakima. Also close to the Hwy. but with a very effective screen of spruce trees so you don't hear hardly any traffic noise as well as can't see the hwy. Lots of full timers but they really did not detract from anything. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Suntides Golf Course RV Park in a Motorhome.

StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community, Blanchard, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

This is an ownership RV Park. Once you buy a lot you are allowed to build it out with covered patios, etc. So the lots that are rented out are ones that have not sold. So even though their ad says cable tv offered it is to the lot but they won't turn it on for a renter. They also say you "may" get TV channels from Coeur d'alene, and Spokane. Well, we got one channel and it was very grainy and played only oldies like Rawhide. Also they do not offer wifi. They also told us at check-in that the only cell service that works well is Verizon (which luckily we have). If you are into pickle ball, and golf, etc. this may be a great place to stay, but as we were there only as tourists to see Sandpoint, Spirit Lake, and other areas we felt very shortchanged. Would NOT stay here again. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Parked in second row so as to have full hookups. The sites in the front row are just a few feet from the Salmon River. There was only one RV in front so our view of the river was great. This Park sits in a valley and the views are great! Would like to come back and stay for a week or more. Many sites have fire rings but ours did not. Staff is very helpful. Stayed just one night. Given a pull through slot that actually had the hookups far enough forward that we did not have to unhook our towed vehicle. Spot was gravel but level enough. Had good wifi service. Close to highway but noise was not obtrusive. Would stay again. We camped at Angel Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

LVM Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 4 nights over Thanksgiving. We were in space 376. As all spaces are individually owned and then rented out when the owner is gone, every lot will vary in amenity's. Ours had a BBQ Grille a wet bar, lots of tables and chairs and almost total privacy. We did not go to the community potluck dinner, but did look in at the Clubhouse. There is also an onsite fitness center. There are multiple pools located throughout the property so no matter where you are staying you are not far from a pool and hot tub. The landscaping is first class, and the property is gated so no security issues at all. The resort is located very conveniently off I-15 and about 5 miles south of the Strip. When we entered Caesar's Palace on our GPS it said we were 8 miles away...so an easy drive. We camped at LVM Resort in a Motorhome.

Very easy 10-15 minutes to get to the Strip or shopping. Very easy access to the freeway but far enough away that you cannot hear any traffic noise.

Be sure to get a map of the resort as the streets are not marked and with around 400 lots it's easy to get lost when walking around.

Overall Rating:

We stayed in the resort area in which all the sites are privately owned and then rented out when the owners are not there. Some sites are owner furnished with BBQs, and Gazebos. Ours was not, it only had a picnic table. The whole site is concrete and very level. There are great views of the red rocks from most sites. There was a nice pool although we did not use. Cable TV is included and they had a nice channel lineup. Access was easy, and the area is quiet all the time. We would definitely stay here again.
