Willow Tree Resort and Campground, Longs, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

One of if not the best campground facility we have ever stayed in. The grounds were perfect as was the facilities. Nice long, level pull thru sites on most sites with grass areas on both sides between the adjacent sites. Each site was paved with a concrete patio pad, a BBQ grill, picnic table and a fire ring. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice fitness room with treadmills and elliptical machines. Did not use the laundry but it looked clean and will kept. Pool and lake swimming areas were great. Around the lake was a nice paved mile long track for walks and bike riding. Will definitely return when headed to the beach area. A great place near the beach and great seafood without the hassle of being on the beach and in all the traffic. Next time I will try to get a site with a little tree shade as our site was in the total open and it was pretty warm the days we were there. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

Greenville Farm Family Campground, Haymarket, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

What can be said - truly a working family farm and campground. We camped here because it was close and as reasonable as could be for the Northern VA area. Our stay for about 2 weeks. The area was quiet for the most part, except for Friday and Saturday nights when there was a loud band playing several hundred yards away in some type of pavilion. Didn't really bother us. In addition to cost of night there is a 13% tax added on to cost. No cable or WiFi available, however, our Sprint phones worked great. Will stay here again if in area. Camped in class C motorhome. Nashville East / Lebanon KOA, Lebanon, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 5 nights as we visited relatives in the area and Nashville. Very impressed with the overall facilities and staff were friendly and very helpful. Did not give a 10 in overall rating due to closeness of the spaces however somewhat typical of many KOAs. WiFi was good. While no cable TV, able to pickup over the air many local channels. Pad was gravel and very adequate. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. Will stay here again. We camped in a class C motorhome. We camped at Nashville East / Lebanon KOA in a Motorhome.

Riverside Campground & Resort, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped at Riverside for an overnight. Very impressed with the facilities and staff. We have stayed in the area several other times but have now found the campground we will definitely return to next time in the area. Parking pad was fully graveled with a concrete patio pad. Well manicured grass areas on each side of the parking space. Restrooms were the best I have seen in a long time. Camped here in a class C motorhome. Camping Transit, Levis, Quebec

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here for an overnight stop. Campground was well quiet full with quite a few seasonal sites. We had a pull thru FHU site. Campground had a free shuttle service to the ferry over to Old Quebec City which we didn't use because we wanted to spend more time visiting Old Quebec City than the free shuttle would have allowed. However, the drive to the ferry was not far and easy to find. The staff was very friendly and helpful. An escort showed us to our camp site and ensured that we had all we needed. We would definitely stay here again if traveling through the area. We camped at Camping Transit in a Motorhome.

Round Pond Recreation Area (Military FamCamp), West Point U.S. Military Academy, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this campground for 2 days while visiting friends and touring West Point. Campground is very nice. Pretty quiet, except when large groups having gatherings. However, the gatherings didn't bother us as they were over in the early evening. You can also hear firing ranges in the distance up until about 10 pm. However, having served in the Army for over 26 years, we were use to hearing firing on nearby ranges and it didn't bother us.\ at all. We had sort of missed the noise from the past. The camp staff were very friendly and helpful. Our site (C-9) was close to others but not a problem. The restroom was close to us which we did use. It was very clean. We would stay here during another visit to this area. We camped in a class C motorhome. We camped at Round Pond Recreation Area (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Endless Caverns Resort, New Market, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for two nights on our way south. Having traveled I-81 many times we decided to stop and visit the caverns and the nearby civil war museum. Road to the campground was paved while the interior campground roads were heavily graveled. We arrived after the office closed but was soon meet by a staff member who escorted us to our site. Visiting mid week the campground was pretty vacant. Most sites appeared to be fairly level in the lower section in which we camped in. We would stay here again on our travels if need an overnight stop. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Motorhome.

Tree Corners Family Campground, Irasburg, Vermont

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here while visiting relatives nearby. Our site was number 35 next to a bathhouse. The site was a back in which was plenty long enough for our class C. There was also adequate parking for our towed vehicle. The sites were very spacious. While our site was good, it did have a low spot were water puddled under our motorhome and under our awning making for a wet area. There were many seasonal sites that were well kept. The grounds were clean and also well kept. Camp staff were very friendly and went our of their way to be helpful. Cell service was none existent. While there was paid for WiFi, it didn't always work. We would camp here again if in the area. We camped at Tree Corners Family Campground in a Motorhome.

We camped here for two nights. Great location for visiting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Campground was quite full. Many sites appeared to be seasonal. We had a pull thru FHU. Wilderness Lake Campground & Resort, Willington, Connecticut

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this campground on our way to Maine. Reservation was for a pull thru site with FHU. The site provided was a pull thru of sorts. It was just a pull over off of the campground road. There was no sewer hookup and the water faucet was quite a distance way. However, it was fine for a night stay over on our way north. The campground appeared to be mostly for seasonal sites. The staff was friendly and showed us our site. We camped at Wilderness Lake Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.
