Grandview Campground & RV Park, Hardin, Montana
Date of Stay:
June, 2015 -
$37.00
Overall Rating:
Our first impression of this campground was the cat urine smell we got when we first walked into the office. The campground has junk cars at the entrance and in the back there area storage sheds. No trees and there's a huge distance between your water hookup to the electric/sewer.
After looking around, we decided to only stay one night instead of the three as planned. We must say that the owner after questioning us a bit, did honor our decision and allowed us to just stay the one night.
We left and went just a short distance to another campground and it was night and day different. We
camped at Grandview Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Timberline Campground, Waukee, Iowa

From the unfriendliness of the office to the soggy cow pasture like site we were put on to the constant sounds of the gun range right at the back of the campground. The guns went off constantly until 6:30 that night and started back up at 8:30 the next morning! It was horrible! We have no issues with guns but certainly weren't in the mood at a campground for that. The reviews it is given was totally not what we got. Would never recommend this place. We camped at Timberline Campground in a Motorhome.
