Anchorage Ship Creek RV Park, Anchorage, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

The office staff are very nice & helpful at this park. The park itself is noisy, and the sites are small. Its right next to the railroad tracks. The restrooms/showers are not great. I stayed here because the park is within walking distance of downtown Anchorage. The rate is $26 with no hookups. Discount for Good Sam. We camped at Anchorage Ship Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

South Forty RV Ranch (55+ Park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The Park location is good. But it is about 1/2 mile from the freeway and trains. You can hear traffic outside the RV but train horns are heard inside. And there's a lot of trains. It is an older park. Be sure to check the power before plugging in. (my first site had an electrical problem and i moved to another site) The park does hire professionals to fix these type problems when they hear about them. We camped at South Forty RV Ranch (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.
