Lake Superior Provincial Park - Agawa Bay Campground, Wawa, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful location but water wasn't working well so washrooms weren't functional and could not fill trailer. We used the pit toilets which were okay. We camped at Lake Superior Provincial Park - Agawa Bay Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Happy Land Campground, Kakabeka Falls, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Nice stop off the highway. Spots were a little close together but seperated by shrubs and trees. The pool and hot tub were very clean and refreshing! We camped at Happy Land Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Camping Transit, Levis, Quebec

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Fantastic campground with very friendly staff! Lots of seasonals here but everyone would say "allo". The transient campers are in a specific area with plenty of space between spots. Nice pool with lifeguard and the restaurant had decent pizza. They have a free shuttle service to the Lévis Ferry that takes you right into Old Quebec. The shuttle picks you up too at the end of the day. Staff was perfectly bilingual. Wifi was extra cost but worked flawlessly. Only downsides were the highway traffic noise and then occasional waft of manure. Try to get a spot towards the office to minimize the noise. We camped at Camping Transit in a Travel Trailer.

Renfrew / Ottawa West KOA, Renfrew, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Lots of seasonals here. They pretty much take over the beach on the weekends. Might be quieter during weekdays but otherwise keep it to one night. It's conveniently close to the highway. The pamphlet they give you is outdated. Wood is $10 for 15 pieces and they don't rent kayaks. For staff, it seems that there are a couple of young people running it (doing a great job though). We camped at Renfrew / Ottawa West KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Munising Tourist Park Campground, Munising, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Great location on the lake. We had a spot that backed onto the highway and didn't find it too noisy. If we were in a tent then we probably would've though. Camp office has some necessities. Firewood was $7 but seemed to have been freshly cut. Sounds like I was cooking a steak with all of the sizzling. The day we left it was raining and our site was close to flooding out. That wasn't great but managed to get in the ark in time. Overall very nice campground especially for the money. We camped at Munising Tourist Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cloquet/Duluth KOA, Cloquet, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Typical KOA. Spots are close together. The hot tub wasn't working (low water level) but pool was nice. We had a pullthru with E/W. The attendant led us thru a very tight roadway to get to the site and I had to be extremely careful not to hit a tree. Lots of branches scraping alongside the trailer though. Wasn't impressed. Sites were setup so we faced our neighbors patio too. Weird. We camped at Cloquet/Duluth KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Glenrock Cottages, Sturgeon Falls, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for one night with a spot on the beach. It was a tight fit for our trailer but worked out well. The campground is mostly seasonal. Didn't feel too welcomed by fellow campers there. Not sure we would stay more than one night. Sites are extremely close together. Friendly owner though. We camped at Glenrock Cottages in a Travel Trailer.

Good place to stop in for a night. Pull thru spots with electricity and water. Dump station on way out. They had a nice looking pool but the weather wasn't cooperating when we were there. Laundry facilities worked well. We camped at Serpent River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Willowbend Campground & Cabins, Maple Creek, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This was a nice stop on the way back from Banff. Unfortunately, we got dumped on by rain and we shortened our stay.

This is very near a mainline for a railroad, which is LOUD. The train horns were very audible, even with our trailer fan running. I couldn't imagine what it would be like in a tent.

Nice owners! Maple Creek is a neat little town (visit the toy store), with good access to Cypress Hills PP. We camped at Willowbend Campground & Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

St. Mary / East Glacier KOA, St Mary, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $50.00

I'd consider this a typical KOA. Spots were just okay in that ours was close to our neighbors and it was essentially on dirt. The facilities themselves were fantastic though. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Travel Trailer.
