Still one of the most peaceful places you can camp at, even though it's out of the way. They have added Wi-Fi at the visitor center by the campground so you can use your cell or laptop. Maintenance was lacking, but again it's due to our government making budget cuts while still supporting other things. It's sad to let a campground let go.

Campground has changed to the dark side. Rates have gone up to 35 versus 30, without any significant changes for the better. Restrooms were full of dead bugs and one out of two toilets was stopped up and disgusting. I think the lady who had done an outstanding job has been let go. The guys doing it now don't spend but 5 minutes on cleaning, go figure. Sites are still the same with lots of blocks needed to level unless you get here early and find one of the twenty where you can level your unit. Will be looking for another campground in the future. It's not the staff at the campground; its the city management people that have no clue in running a campground.

Still a great campground and no complaints what so ever. Yes, 4 days of rain will make the grass grow and not suited to cut when wet. Some people just have to find something as stated before. Will be back soon.

Terrific campground that allows the senior access pass which is half price. Rangers are great and friendly. It is very isolated with no cell or local TV stations. Wally world is about 20 minutes away if you get lonely.

Campground had done a 180 degree since last visit. No seasonals and very clean and staff is very friendly and caters to campers. Restrooms are spotless thanks to a lady that cleans for two hours every day. Will return again.

Second event at a KOA in the past seven years. Why would they put a 32' fifth wheel with a full size truck on a 40' site between two roads? You wonder what management is thinking. Pull-through are nice and shaded and park is very clean. Security is constant riding around on their golf cart. Would stay again but never on their wish to park me on a site that is really not camper friendly. Wake up people.

Nice campground with shopping only ten minutes away near by in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Rating would be higher if they had water at the site. Fill your RV tank when you enter if you are staying overnight. Rate is 1/2 price from using Golden Age pass. Lots of hiking trails available.

Another State Park that is great. Although it states big rig friendly, it would help if you knew your site in advance: not all are large enough. Most state 41 feet in depth but some lack that amount for sure unless you place your rear jacks on very unlevel ground. Sites are mostly level and paved and 1/2 or almost have sewers if you are staying very long. No TV or cell reception in park. You can get PBS and KET but no major news station. Cell service is available about 1 mile drive if you have AT&T. Bluegrass cell will work in campground and at lodge. Closest town is Burkesville with not much but does have gas and groceries and some shops.

Still a nice getaway campground. Stayed two nights and enjoyed the time away. We arrived after some tent people that left a mess of beer cans behind the site and trash in the fire pit. Wouldn't expect anything less, some people just don't get it.

Still one of the top notch campgrounds in the area. Would have given a higher rank if the security people riding around, would stop some of the people who don't recognize the speed limit within the campground. The dust was bad because of all the new gravel in place.

Very nice campground with pull-through sites that help for short stays. We stayed here two nights on the way to the beach. W-Fi is available but you need to be close to office. Restrooms need to updated but a one-holer is OK. Will stay here again next time through.

Beautiful state campground with lots to do at campground and in the area. Only issue like others is lack of Wi-fi; otherwise would rank as one of the top all time.

We camped here going and coming to Florida for an overnight only. Pull-through sites help but not much around here to do. Will stay here again, it's a nice campground.

Out of the way campground but still one of our favorites. Always clean and the upkeep is ongoing. Wally World is only 20 minutes away in case you want or need something.

Septic system went down and no one was allowed to dump and it may be down for a week. This isn't the fault of the campground but something could have been done for the campers to dump even if the state had to hire private sewage pumpers to help out in an emergency. The campground is still one of my favorites but you can see that the state is cutting corners on the upkeep and it will cost them in the long run of things.
