Visalia / Sequoia National Park KOA, Visalia, California

Date of Stay: January, 2007 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The campground was in need of repair. 2 out of 3 showers in the woman's restroom were out of order. Trains traveled by the campground all night long, blowing their whistles, making it difficult to sleep. When making my reservation the woman on the telephone was very polite. I would not stay here again. We camped at Visalia / Sequoia National Park KOA in a Tent Trailer.

Lemoore Naval Air Station Campground (Military FamCamp), Lemoore NAS, California

Date of Stay: December, 2006 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived after 5:00 pm on a Friday night without reservations. We were unable to get the codes for the restrooms due to our late arrival. We were able to use the restrooms in the Village, which was a combination enlisted club, game room and cafe. The campground is located close to a fairly busy street. Traffic was a little loud early in the evening, but quieted down until early morning. I would stay here again. We camped at Lemoore Naval Air Station Campground (Military FamCamp) in a Tent Trailer.

It was a nice campground. You must purchase a fishing permit at the campground store to fish. You need a separate fishing permit for daytime or nighttime fishing. You must purchase a fishing permit for each day you want to fish. A California fishing license is not required. We camped at Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve in a Tent Trailer.
