Dakota Ridge RV Park, Golden, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $66.00
Overall Rating:

Park is very clean! Great park near to Red Rock, Downtown Golden and Denver. About 1 hour from the Airforce Academy, 1 1/2 hours from Pikes Peak and about 1 1/2 hours from Rocky National Park. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this RV Park! We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sounds of the Sea RV Park, Trinidad, California

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

First off you will not hear the sounds of the sea or see the sea, it is way across the road. Gravel and very skinny sites. We camped with another motorhome and could not walk between them. Not much grass and no amenities. Also, there is nothing in the area except for the Redwoods which are about 20 minutes away. Overall if you are just looking for a camping spot it will do but if you want to stay near the sea you might want to look somewhere else. We camped at Sounds of the Sea RV Park in a Motorhome.

Townsend / Great Smokies KOA, Townsend, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $64.00
Overall Rating:

This is the best campground in The Great Smokies. Townsend is the peaceful side of the Smokies and is not full of tourist traps and traffic. However, your are right at the mouth of The Great Smokey National Park and only a 25 minute ride to Pigeon Forge. You will not find better hosts anywhere. They are great and really go out of their way to help their guests feel welcome. This has been our favorite campground for almost 30 years. Once you stay here you will fall in love too. We camped at Townsend / Great Smokies KOA in a Motorhome.
