Double J Campground and RV Park, Chatham, Illinois

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We came to this park with a rally group and loved our stay here. Nice level gravel campsites with good roads. Friendly staff, good wifi. Didn't try their cable but had good satellite reception. We camped at Double J Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Burlington Bay Campground, Two Harbors, Minnesota

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here with a rally group and loved most of the park. Since it is brand new, there is neither wifi or cable but the satellites worked well and we had good cell service, so mifi was good. My big complaint is that they put curbs across from the sites, making a tight turn to get backed in with a long trailer. We all drove over the curb to get in but if it was muddy this might be a problem. Otherwise, we liked the park and will return. We camped at Burlington Bay Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park, Lake Delton, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good park for visiting the Dells. The staff is friendly and the sites are reasonably level. I am tired of parks that advertise wifi and when you arrive it won't work. You complain and are told that you must come into the office for the wifi to work. That's not what is advertised and I feel that we are paying for a service that is not available. We will look elsewhere next time we come to the area. We camped at Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Soo Locks Campground, Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park for the river view but didn't exactly get what we asked for. We were some distance off the river but could still see the big ships going by. As usual, no internet in the sites and an attitude from an employee when I asked about it. I don't think a park would care for me coming into the office in my underwear after my shower to be able to play on my computer. If you can get a better site than we did and don't need your computer its not a bad place to stay for a few days. We likely won't be back. We camped at Soo Locks Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Dixie Caverns Campground, Salem, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 2 weeks and I wish we had more time. The staff is friendly, sites relatively level, with the only complaint being that the sites are very close together. Outstanding Wi-Fi here and that's very important to me. Another small problem is the lack of access for a satellite antenna but they have good cable. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Dixie Caverns Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Whispering Hills RV Park, Georgetown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park that could be improved with some work. The interior roads need work badly. There are potholes and bumps throughout the park and plenty of equipment to fix them. They advertise WiFi available, but it only works for a few minutes and cuts you off. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Paradise Lake Resort, Nacogdoches, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This place is still a dump! We have stayed here before while visiting family in the area but not again. Grass unmowed, grass burrs throughout the park, and utilities dangerous. The list goes on and on. Lots of potential here but nothing is being done to improve things. On the other hand, the sites have a beautiful view of the lake, which is full now. It's heartbreaking to see such a pretty setting not being used. We will not return here. We camped at Paradise Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Coffee Creek RV Resort, Santo, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $22.00

This is a very nice park and we will return! Very nice and helpful staff. reasonably level sites and full hook ups. The lack of reliable WiFi is why I rated it lower. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Oasis Resort & RV Park, La Marque, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Not a bad park to stay at now. They changed park hosts and the park is cleaner. There were lots of construction workers in the park and it was difficult to get a site here but we were lucky and got one. They changed management while we were there and it will be interesting to see what happens now. We camped at Oasis Resort & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA , Montgomery, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here because there were No Other RV sites in the Houston area. We don't normally stay in a KOA long term, but this was an exception. They advertise park-wide WiFi but it is not available and has been out since November last year with no real plans to restore. The lack of WiFi is not really the issue but the employees are! I was told that if I didn't like the lack of WiFi, I should move out. I had just arrived and paid for a month, with a no refund policy prominently displayed. We have been here several times before but will not return. We camped at Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed again at Ink Lake state park and had a great time. The park is beautiful and the staff very helpful. I wish they would add more 50 amp sites and sewer service for longer stays. The staff is friendly. We camped at Inks Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Serendipity Bay Resort RV Park & Marina, Palacios, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This park is still run-down looking. We have been coming here for years and it hasn't changed at all. Promises are made to grade the streets and to add more concrete pads but nothing has been done. Nice quiet little park and the staff is helpful but it's time that someone takes some pride in this park. We camped at Serendipity Bay Resort RV Park & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

We stopped here for an overnight stop. Escorted to our pull-thru site which was nice and level. Good Wi-Fi signal, friendly staff, but a funny name for the town and park. We camped at Peculiar Park Place RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

America's Best Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This is our second stay in Branson. This is a nice park with friendly staff but as others have pointed out, not America's Best! Sites are not level due to the Ozark hills but the leveling system took care of that. WiFi is good and the facilities are okay. There is an extra charge for the rally hall that I thought was high priced. I might recommend this place but been in better ones. We camped at America's Best Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
