Glenwood Canyon Resort, Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

"RESORT" it is not!! RV sites are extremely close together including slides close to cabin doors. Sites are gravel with very little maintenance. Office manager and staff were rude! We arrived earlier than the 2:00 check in time and were told we had to leave and come back on or after 2:00 pm so their maintenance people could prepare the site for us. During our 3 day stay, there was no maintenance preformed on any rv sites! We were also charged $5 per day for each dog although no dog area was provided! We booked online and were told that sites were not assigned until arrival, which was not the truth. Extremely expensive for what the so called "Resort" provided. We camped at Glenwood Canyon Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Grand Sierra Resort RV Park, Reno, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here one night on our way to Las Vegas. It's your average casino rv park, one big cement parking lot. Some sites did have trees. Try to stay toward the front of the park in the pull through sites. They are much cleaner and better maintained. We camped at Grand Sierra Resort RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

DO NOT USE the Sweets mobile rv service advertised in the rv park brochure. We called him for a plumbing issue. Not only did he NOT fix the issue, but charged us $90 for the service call after he stated that's why he usually doesn't work on plumbing problems. BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER!!

The Redwoods RV Resort, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

What a beautiful RV park. Location is great for visits to both the redwoods and Oregon. Love their sites in the trees. Our site was very secluded with redwoods all around it. The only downside was our site was all dirt. It could have had some gravel. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at The Redwoods RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Zephyr Cove Resort RV Park & Campground, Zephyr Cove, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

The less than satisfactory experience starts when you miss the RV park driveway because of poor/no signs or markings. You are then forced to drive approx. 1 mile to turn around to make it back to the RV park. The next unsatisfactory experience occurs when you encounter the unknowledgeable, unprofessional office staff. We were directed to a site that was occupied and then to a site that was too small for our trailer! After about an hour of the front office personnel trying to locate us a site via their computer system, we were taken to a site that barely accommodated our 30 foot 5th wheel and our tow vehicle! After finally getting into this site, our steps ended at a drop off of about 5 feet to the next camp site. There was no enforcement of the 1 vehicle per site nor how many people at one site. The only good thing I can say about the facility is its location. It is right across the street from the Zypher Cove facilities and beach, so on a holiday weekend, you don't have to drive to get to the beach area. Way to expensive and way to crowded! We camped at Zephyr Cove Resort RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
