Forks 101 RV Park, Forks, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park over the July 4th holiday weekend. It was fairly full. We arrived and check-in was smooth, fast and friendly. Sites have a fair amount of room between them and are not too crowded. We have a 13.5' tall and 39' Fifth wheel with tow truck and had no issues getting in or out. Sites were grass, mowed, clean with a picnic table. Good water pressure and no issues with electricity or sewer. The Wifi is basically non-existent. We were toward the back of the park and even with a Wifi Ranger could not get it consistently. As mentioned in previous reviews, there is a "trailer park" across the road that faces the RV's. This is not part of the RV Park, but shares a right of way with the park. Since school is out, there are children out in the road playing and riding bikes. Some dogs roaming, but friendly. No, the trailers are not attractive or well kept. However, we had no problems with noise. If you come to this park as a base to explore the area and you will be gone most of the time, you will have no issue. If you come to sit outside your RV and stay mainly in the park, you may have an issue. We found it to be fine for our purpose, which was exploring the area. There was amply room to walk the dog. Grocery store across the road...has good fried chicken:-) We camped at Forks 101 RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Evergreen Coho SKP Park - Escapees Park (members only), Chimacum, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This park is extremely well kept and clean. We have a big rig and had no problems with getting in or out of the park/site. Sites are gravel, level and for the transient RV's, are very close together. There was enough room to put out the awning, but sitting outside you were pretty close to your neighbor's sewer. All sites are in full sun and are 3o amp. There is a very nice fenced dog area, as well as an area specific to wash RV's and cars. Very convenient location to Port Townsend, Port Hadlock (nearest grocery store) with Sequim and Port Angeles within a little longer drive. Friendly check-in and very accommodating. We initially reserved for one week, but decided to stay for two. Staff were able to arrange for us to stay in the same site without moving which we greatly appreciated. Very friendly "park locals". We camped at Evergreen Coho SKP Park - Escapees Park (members only) in a Fifth Wheel.
