Antrim/Jordan River Valley KOA (Whispering Pines RV Resort and CG), Mancelona, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The cleanest, most beautiful pine-filled park we've found in Michigan. It's a GEM. The new owners were attentive to every detail. The main restroom/shower facility is still under construction, but facilities are available at the main building. Nice heated pool. Washer/dryer available. Hiking trails. Convenient to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear, Petosky, Mackinaw and more. We highly recommend this campground. We camped at Antrim/Jordan River Valley KOA (Whispering Pines RV Resort and CG) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Best groceries, WalMart, and big box stores can be found nearby in Gaylord - about 14 miles. The small local grocer is overpriced, lacks selection.

Tips for other Campers:

From this location you can visit all of Kalamazoo, Flint and other nearby towns. Our only complaint was the overzealous seasonal worker who mowed just feet from our table during breakfast (she proceeded to mow other areas of the park that were uninhabited, so not sure why she chose to interrupt our breakfast)
