Pine Mountain RV Park, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Had a back in site beside the creek. Site is level and concrete as are all sites. Site was long enough to to easily park my truck in front of our 35' travel trailer. All of the roads a paved and most have some shade. Sites are nicely angled to allow easy parking of your RV. The grounds where kept clean.

You are able to use the pools and lazy river of the hotel across the street. Campground is near the center of activities but is off the main strip by a mile. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sycamore Lodge, Jackson Springs, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Resort is very clean. Most sites do not have sewer. The roads are wide and our site was easy to get in and out of. Sites are wide and not crammed together. I felt there is a lot to do at the resort with many planned activities for the kids through out the weekend. It is a family oriented resort and everyone was friendly. We camped at Sycamore Lodge in a Travel Trailer.

Apache Family Campground & Pier, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in the middle of the park in the shaded area. All utility connections are at the back of the site. Walked down to the pier a few times and the park is large. A lot of golf carts driving around. Sites are very close together and roads are narrow. We camped at Apache Family Campground & Pier in a Travel Trailer.

Tanglewood Park Campground, Clemmons, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean park. The host is very nice and helpful. Be careful when selecting your site as some are very unlevel but all sites are paved and full hookups. Cable is included in the rate. A Harris Teeter grocery store is located nearby as well as a small farmers market on Saturday morning. There are no fire rings at the sites but there are two group fire pits available. We camped at Tanglewood Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Dan Nicholas Park, Salisbury, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice county park with plenty of shade. Sites do not have sewer connection, with a dump station available for use on your way out. The roads through the park are paved, with gravel sites. This park has plenty to offer with train, carousel, petting zoo, gem mining, fishing and more. We camped at Dan Nicholas Park in a Travel Trailer.
