Gettysburg Campground, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Park is in the wide open with no shade, very hot! Sites are okay, nothing special, just gravel and grass. No security at night because we tried to call about people playing music outside late at night (way past quiet time). NO trash pickup, tv was okay until a 5er pulled in next to us and plugged in their tv cable and then we got snowy reception. We camped at Gettysburg Campground in a Motorhome.

Bar Harbor / Oceanside KOA, Bar Harbor, Maine

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $99.00
Overall Rating:

This is a TOP Quality KOA, the way all KOA's should be. The only thing that I find negative is no sewer on all sites. They charge 15.00 per dump and they come to your site to dump your tanks. I feel that the dump should be complementary since paying 99.00 a night.

The staff is the friendliest and nicest that you will ever encounter. Location is excellent, I recommend this KOA Park very highly. Book early and don't get a water site, they have no sewer. This is a quality KOA Park and you will enjoy your visit. We camped at Bar Harbor / Oceanside KOA in a Motorhome.

Boston / Cape Cod KOA, Middleboro, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Totally unsupervised park, NO control over anything. The park has an "Emergency After Hour Phone Number" listed on the check-in sheet and I called it, it states to leave a name and phone number and they will call you back the next day, WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! There is NO security in this park at all!!! The sites are dirty muddy sites, roads are gravel and it is out in the country away from anything and they charge like they are near the beach or activities, no stores of any kind are close, 7.5 miles to the closest yet they over-charge for this park. The park store has little to no supplies and no groceries either. This park is NOT up to the KOA standard for being a good park. This park needs to provide after-hour phone numbers that function as they should, they need a Security Staff to police the park and enforce quiet hours and visitors controlled on sites. Boston/Cape Cod KOA, strange that they even call it that because it is 45 minutes to Boston, an hour to Cape Cod both are FAR! I will NEVER again visit this park, hope I can share this for other RV'ers to avoid this park and the bad environment. We camped at Boston / Cape Cod KOA in a Motorhome.

Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Ocean Lakes has nice sites, especially the paved sites and the ones near the beach are very convenient when you want to spend time on the beach. We have stayed at this park a large number of times through the years but Will NEVER be back here. It is nothing but trailers and trailer park trash. They play loud music until 04:00 am and security does nothing about it. They have trailers and pitch 1 or 2 tents on the same site with the trailer; have several dogs tied outside all times; dozens of kids and dozens of people mostly 25 to 35 years old who curse out loud. They are drunk almost all the time and have 4 or 5 cars that they intrude on other sites with.

This is a disgusting Trailer Park and not, NOT a quality RV Park like it used to be, because Ocean Lakes has catered to the "Trailer Society." this shows because they have a storage area for trailers across the highway from Ocean Lakes where thousands of trailers are stored for the people that has basically taken over Ocean Lakes.

I truly regret that this quality RV Park has evolved in such a disgraceful manor because it used to be the RV Park that you compared all other to, but not any more. We camped at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Emerald Beach RV Park, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We go to Emerald Beach RV Park very often, when we want a quick getaway and a pleasant place to go, it is here! We live in North Georgia and we found I-59 to I-65 and then state highways and we are there pretty quick and we don't have to get on I-75 which is a drivers nightmare all the time, I-75 is the WORST interstate in America! Back to Emerald Beach RV Park, it is conveniently located, Walmart close by, grocery stores close by and lots of really good restaurants all around. This park is one of the cleanest parks we have ever seen and sites are placed perfectly and plenty of room. I would recommend this park very highly, you will not be disappointed. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Osprey RV Resort, Elberta, Alabama

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is clearly the BEST and the #1 Park in America. It is quiet, big sites and the cleanest you will ever see. Plus, it does not allow trailers, older coaches or older 5th wheels, only newer units allowed, no children, no dogs above 20 pounds and all dogs have to be on a leash at all times. no outside racket or music. This is a park for people that like quality, clean and quiet environment. #1 BEST Park. We camped at Lake Osprey RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Plenty of shopping in Pensacola FL, or Foley AL, both are close and there is everything you need in both area's. Great grocery store in Elberta (just a few miles from park) where they have a wonderful butcher shop and hand cut all the beef and it is some of the best you will find, they have great steaks!

Pine Mountain RV Park, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Of all the parks in Pigeon Forge TN, I would easily say that Pine Mountain is clearly the Best one there. Sites are not huge but not small, they actually are just right and adequate, could be longer if anything. They are pull-through but you have to take your toad off or it sticks out in the road. All sites are paved, park is super clean and well organized they do need some more rules regarding dogs because people let their dogs stay outside on a leash and they bark a lot. This park is located at red light #6 and far enough from the parkway that you do not hear any of the traffic noise. I recommend this park above all the others in Pigeon Forge. Great park but call early, they fill up fast and far in advance. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Emerald Beach RV Park, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

The best park in the Navarre FL area, it is super clean and the sites are well maintained. Sites are not tiny but by no mean are they super sized, they are pretty much standard minimum size but will not interfere with units next to you. It was quiet there and only issue was too many kids and too many dogs and inconsiderate people who take their dogs to other peoples site to do their business and then walk away, they can't or should I say won't let their dogs do their business on their own sites because they are self-centered and inconsiderate like 95% of the RV'ers who have dogs. The park is a quality park and situated in a good location, we visit this park 2 or 3 times every year. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This used to be a quality park, but now it is run over with trailers with multiple families in each and tents next to them. They stay outside playing extremely loud music into the night. They are loud and curse out loud. Also the dog situation is terrible, barking and they bring their dogs onto your site to do their business. We used to go to Ocean Lakes 3+ times a year but we decided to stop going there because of the degradation of conditions. Stay somewhere else, Ocean Lakes is no longer a fun place to visit and they have inflated their prices beyond reasonable. We camped at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Two Rivers Landing RV Resort, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park is one of the cleanest RV parks you will ever see, each of the riverfront sites are all paved and have hedges between each site which is very nice and adds to the appearance as well. It is away from the traffic noise because of the location off of the main road but there are no problems getting in and out with big rigs. All amenities are in pristine conditions and the staff is friendly and helpful. Absolutely the best and #1 RV Park in Sevierville and Pigeon Forge area, I like it because there are "No Trailers" allowed, Class A Motorhomes only and some upscale fifth wheels. This is a quality RV Park designed for quality RV'ers. I recommend this park above all the others! It is close to everything but out of the congestion which makes it even better.

he staff is super to help you in every way possible. We camped at Two Rivers Landing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Willow Tree Resort and Campground, Longs, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great RV park, a wonderful place to stay while in Myrtle Beach. They have very big roomy sites and if you get the lakeside sites you can get a 'Hot Tub' on your site. They also offer 'Buddy Site' for two RVs with door sides facing each other, which is great when you are meeting friends for an added pleasure for your sites. You will love this park, very well maintained and very clean. Will definitely be going back to this park. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

While there be sure to visit Restaurant Row in North Myrtle Beach. Two of our favorites are: Preston's and the Original Benjamin's (next to the restaurant with a giant crab on top). Also go to the Carolina Landing to visit all the shops and be sure to see the White Tigers and Cubs, you can hold the cubs and have your picture taken with them. Shows are close by that are very good.

Orlando / Kissimmee KOA, Kissimmee, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $69.00
Overall Rating:

This is a smaller RV Park but the sites are very roomy and not jammed next to each other, and most have patio sets that include swings, table and fire rings. All in all, it is a notch above most RV parks with their roominess and a superb staff that goes above and beyond to help you in any way that you need. Entrance and exit to this park is easy and no obstacles or hard turns, plenty of shopping all around the park and grocery stores are close by this park. This is our favorite RV park because it is very close to Walt Disney World and to Universal Studios. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

There is great shopping all around this park, walk to Sam's Club. There are dozens and dozens of great restaurants close by and the best Restaurant in Florida is close by, it is Boston Lobster Feast, all the lobster you can eat and every seafood imaginable on buffet, plan to eat there at least twice in a week, it is GREAT, you'll love it, we do! We would not go to Florida without visiting Boston Lobster Feast, it is our all time favorite.

Riveredge RV Park & Log Cabin Rentals, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are rough, not paved, dirt and grass and the one we had was very elevated in the rear making leveling nearly impossible. Not real sure if I would stay here again or not? You are extremely close to the parkway, in fact the park borders the parkway and you get all the traffic noise all the time.

Look close at the site BEFORE you stay here, I am sure they have some acceptable sites but still going to be very close. We camped at Riveredge RV Park & Log Cabin Rentals in a Motorhome.

Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg KOA, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This park should NOT be called a KOA because it does not adhere to the standards of other KOAs. In my opinion it is a joke. They claim to have 'pull-thru' sites and charge you for one but you have to drive through another site to get into yours and if there is someone in that site, you can only back in and I have never - NEVER see sites that are as tight, I had to yell at another coach or he would have hit is in the side, he had about 10 inches to clear and he got out and said that it was ridiculous to have any site that close and said he was leaving and getting his money back. On the other side, a man hit the grill at the adjoining site and he to said what dump this park was. I recommend that you DO NOT stay at this Pigeon Forge KOA. We camped at Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg KOA in a Motorhome.
