Cotillion Gardens RV Park, Felton, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $67.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here many times. It is a nice park. Close to Felton & hiking. Right on the San Lorenzo River. Some of the spots close to the little creek need fill dirt added. We had to do a lot leveling. There are a lot of trees which makes it nice & cool. They have a picnic table on a deck overlooking the little creek which was very nice. Out site was a little tight since there were trees we had to work around. We camped at Cotillion Gardens RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is the state park for hiking. Train rides taking you into the forest or to Santa Cruz. Santa Cruz is about 15 miles from Felton. Felton is a small town with a Safeway store real close.

Casini Ranch Family Campground, Duncans Mills, California

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

The park is a ranch. You camp in a field. There is a lot of dust even though they do put some water on the roads. Our spot had a lot of stickers that I had to constantly pull out of my dogs hair and feet. There are a lot of groups. On the weekends there are hundreds of people dry camping everywhere. The beach on the river is nice. The laundry room was fine. We camped at Casini Ranch Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Sac West RV Park and Campground, West Sacramento, California

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

The grounds are kept very clean. There are a lot of full timers. We were put right next to them. That had a truck that was constantly coming and going and the fuel smell was awful. The swimming pool was full of kids that knew each other. We felt out of place. They were helpful in the office for directions. I would have been happier next to people that were traveling. They are close to Old Sacramento which makes it nice. We camped at Sac West RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Zephyr Cove Resort RV Park & Campground, Zephyr Cove, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $94.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice RV park. The office was very helpful when my 10 year old became sick. We always stay along the trail so there is no one behind you. The lake was low but very beautiful. They have a nice beach and lots to do. We have stayed here before and will return. We camped at Zephyr Cove Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Mammoth Mountain RV Park, Mammoth Lakes, California

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 nights and had space 225, which was very large. Check-in was terrible. We had never been to Mammoth before and didn't know how long it would take from Lone Pine. We got there about 15 minutes before check-in. They wouldn't let us check in even though our space was empty. The signing around the office didn't make me feel welcome. There was a lot of dust from the roads. The pool was inside. There were a lot of tall pine trees that made the park very nice. We camped at Mammoth Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.
