Alamo Fiesta RV Resort, Boerne, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Unless you've been here for a long time expect to be belittled and adhered to different rules. There were fleas all over the playground, a guy driving a big rig drinking beer, and the campground is dark and unsafe.

This place is not pet or family friendly. Definitely don't stay here if you have a child with special needs. If you break a minor rule while attending to that child, they tell you they don't care why the rule was broken.

They pick and choose what rules are ok to break. They have signs saying it is against the rules to have glass bottles in the pool area. A guy with 2 kids was drinking liquor out of the bottle poolside, the office personnel walked right past and nothing was said.

The office was rude and condescending. If you have a minor complaint, they don't have conflict resolution skills to work out a solution. They won't work it out. We were always wrong. They are also judgmental and will tell you how to parent your child.

The interstate noise is loud. You can hear the sirens pretty loudly from outside.

The playground was ok except the amount of fleas. Don't expect to come away free of flea bites.

They have cats that run wild around the park as well. But you will get in trouble if your animal barks at them. If you mention the cats, they give you an excuse. They have a no cat outside policy except when it benefits them.

Excercise equipment? I saw 2 pieces on a side wall near the entrance. I'd rather not workout by the front door, thanks.

The site was unlevel and difficult to level the trailer. The site had really bad fire ants as well and weeds were everywhere.

Their WiFi is extremely slow and some sites are blocked like the Apple Store.

There is too much traffic to let your children play outside and with drivers being aloud to drink and drive on site, not family friendly.

I found this place to be hypocritical, not family friendly, and unprofessional. We camped at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The advantage of staying here were the deer. They were friendly and fun to watch. My kids enjoyed walking down the street seeing this family of deer grazing.

Alamo RV is close to Boerne.
