Worlds of Fun Village, Kansas City, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped overnight on a cross-country trip. Located next to an amusement park so it was fun watching the roller coaster go around as evening fell. Very nice, level concrete sites. Water hookup was odd as the lever didn't have a definite "detent" so you had to experiment to determine when the water was on; it also leaked at the connection. Convenient to interstate. Showers were fair--reminiscent of pool houses. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

Salina KOA, Salina, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here one night on cross-country trip. Interior roads and sites very muddy--I realize they have received a lot of rain, but need to add more gravel; we tracked mud inside our RV every time we came in. Covered picnic shelter was a nice thought but too muddy to get to. Next to interstate so lots of road noise. Looked like 50% long term residents. Trucks parked randomly around campground. We camped at Salina KOA in a Motorhome.

Duck Creek RV Park, Paducah, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Have stayed twice in past year for overnight stops. Very clean showers located in main building. Our site was flat and did not require levelers. Some road noise but not excessive, and convenient to interstate. Great fenced-in dog park as well as lots of room to walk the dog. Well-stocked store. We stayed in early June and it was fairly full but quiet. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.
