Moonshine Creek Campground, Balsam, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

The reason for low score is because they do not have it on their website or in their rules that you are not allowed in the creek. We found out when we were setting up. If we had known that, we would have chosen one of the many other campgrounds nearby. Also, their website and brochure shows they have wifi, but they do not. Many campers complained about both of those. The campground is nice but not big rig friendly, and sites are really close. The owner is annoying but the camp hosts are great. If you are looking for somewhere to just sit in your camper, this place will be fine. We camped at Moonshine Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Santa Rosa RV Resort, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is nice. Good location. Avoid the back row sites due to road noise. Sites have have sprinklers for plants. Noticed lots of rusty water spots on camper because of them. Had several power outages during our stay over the 4th. The problem was within the campground. Only thing offered for our trouble was the pool would stay open an extra 30 mins. I would stay again if other campgrounds are full but I'll make sure to have generator. We camped at Santa Rosa RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Steele Creek Park, Morganton, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. You can choose your own site. A lot of different kinds of sites. A very nice creek, which is good for tubing or fishing, goes through the whole campground. Has a large beach area for swimming. The grounds are well kept. The only complaint is the owners are very rude but if you can overlook that then it's a great campground. We camped at Steele Creek Park in a Travel Trailer.
