Cedar City KOA, Cedar City, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a fairly large KOA, and is indeed big rig friendly. The exception to that statement for us in our particular site, was our inability to level our coach, neither by pulling far enough forward or backing up enough to find a sweet spot. The gravel was simply to0 packed for even our 39k+ weight to make a difference! The other issue for us was cement boarders that restricted our ability to move left or right, and the final issue was a decorative fencing that proved problematic for our sliders. The asphalt is failing everywhere, allowing for potholes and the curb entrance could be a killer if not forewarned. The WIFI became spotty and unusable as the Park filled. If we ever need to return to this area of Utah, we will attempt to look for somewhere else to stay. We camped at Cedar City KOA in a Motorhome.

OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park, but does very well at accommodations for big rigs. It's in the desert, so don't expect tons of green lawn, but each site does have some grass and they work hard at keeping it alive. The staff is super friendly and great help, especially when we developed an ice maker leak. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Salt Lake City KOA, Salt Lake City, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

We have a big rig (approximately 65' with t0w) and definitely had to disconnect to 1. Park the rig and 2. attempt to get our Explorer off the road. It wasn't until we were there for a couple of days that a staff member told us it would be ok to park on the grass. The space between sites is narrow, although the services are fine. The WIFI was excellent, which we appreciated since more often than not, that's just not the case. While it is incredibly close to downtown if that's what you are looking for, itdoesn't leave you feeling very safe. Think next time we'll look further out. Anyone with a big rig (42 ft or greater) may want to pop for one of the 6 more expensive, and slightly longer sites at the Park. We camped at Salt Lake City KOA in a Motorhome.

Wonderland RV Park, Torrey, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We have a big rig with a tow that makes us about 65 ft long, and the only reason I didn't give this place a 10 was because the driveway is extremely steep and the first turn narrow. Yes, you have U-24 behind you, but the road noise is light compared to MANY rv parks. The Wifi is spotty...had great service the first night, but as more guests arrived it all but disappeared. Its proximity to Capitol Reef is great. Our dogs loved the open green spaces. While not the biggest we would definitely recommend this Park. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Neskowin Creek RV Resort, Neskowin, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We've been members for over 3 years now and have sadly watched so much of this once really neat park deteriorate. This year, there is a continuous sewer odor prevalent throughout the entire north end.

The WIFI has gone from iffy, to poor, to bad (when we visted in May and we're told they were having it worked on), and is now only available in the office.

The gravel sites have many gouges left from too little gravel and too much mud, and the primary roads are horrible washboard drives.

Picnic tables are falling apart and utility stands are leaning over.

Even the cable service signal is spotty. Clearly the members yearly fees must be supporting other parks, because this one needs some very real work. We camped at Neskowin Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort, Salem, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is the only RV park in the Salem area that truly supports big rigs. The spaces are concrete, wide, well trimmed trees, reliable services (including good WIFI) and excellent roads for access to your site. Our coach is 45 ft and we tow our SUV, so having enough room is always a #1 concern. There is some road noise, but it's a small issue compared to the ease of finding and entering the park. Great and very helpful staff. We camped at Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Polson Motorcoach Resort , Polson, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Our site was at the top tier of the terraced hillside. For the entire week of our stay we were fortunate to have a full view of Flathead Lake and stunning mountains. The site had a deep, very flat, gravel base making it a quick and easy process to level our 45 ft coach, with plenty of space for our SUV tow. Great service. The only negative being the evening noise from people in the KOA behind this site who ignored the quiet hour limits. Luckily, their stay was only an overnight experience. We would definitely stay again. We camped at Polson Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Fort Bridger RV Camp, Fort Bridger, Wyoming

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This Park is a hidden gem, we assume it's because the town is so small most people don't consider it worth stopping. Between our motor home and tow, we require at least 65 ft spaces. While a lot of parks say they can accommodate us, it's often a struggle. Our space here left at 6 ft in front of our RV and another 10 ft behind it! Great utilities, outstanding WIFI, and very good cable. Wonderfully quiet, diligently kept up, some of the friendly staff we've encountered on our 100+ day trip, and our 4-legged kids relished roaming on 30 ft leashes. NOTE: If you do stay, they only take cash or check. We camped at Fort Bridger RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Hard to find as noted by others, turn between the Fort (designated by the statue of Jim Bridger if you don't see the sign) and the old Trading Post. Don't worry about the dirt road...it leads to the log cabin office.

Country Gardens RV Park, Odessa, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Roads leading to the park and once there, leading to the concrete spaces ,are narrow and in terrible condition. If your rig is over 35' and you are towing, find somewhere else to stay. The Wi-Fi was spotty, no cable, and the world's tiniest dog park. Will never stay again. We camped at Country Gardens RV Park in a Motorhome.

Four Seasons RV Acres, Abilene, Kansas

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park may not be glitzy but the long termers we saw, were all taking very good care around their areas, everything was clean and comfortable. Office person was very up front about spotty wifi, almost an unheard voice of honesty in an RV park these days. We will come again! We camped at Four Seasons RV Acres in a Motorhome.

Osens RV Park & Campground, Livingston, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Very accommodating owners, helpful recommendations without being over the top. Plenty of room for our big rig and tow, although the street you turn in from is very narrow. Quiet, with great proximity to the downtown and other POIs in the area. Loved having 24 hr availability of the laundry room, sadly it took longer than I'd hoped because of only 2 washers and 2 dryers. Park is immaculate, with even the longer term residents keeping their areas kept up. We camped at Osens RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Jim & Mary's RV Park, Missoula, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Small but lovely Park. Worried at first we might have issues because our coach is 45 ft long and we tow. Not to worry (although we do have a tag that raises, making turning easier). Our dogs loved exploring the area, and yes trains do come through occasionally. We will definitely come again! We camped at Jim & Mary's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown Missoula (old town... Orange St, etc) can be an absolute headache for out-of-towners. We recommend using Exit 101, where the intersections actually have traffic arrows controlling everyone's behavior.

Columbia Sun RV Resort, Kennewick, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Great park, great staff! This rate reflects a mix of daily and weekly. Was supposed to stay a couple of days, caught a rock in the windshield on the way and the staff was SO accommodating in helping us keep our site for an additional 2 weeks, while we waited for the glass to be delivered to Spokane. The Park itself far exceeded our hopes, and has bumped it to our new #1 favorite. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

There is a 9/11 Memorial with actual pieces of the Twin Towers in Kennewick. Small, simple, but powerful. Also, the Hanford Reach is fascinating.

Coeur D'Alene RV Resort, Post Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Close to so much, making it perfect for exploring. Downside is the idea someone had about using huge boulders at the corners of the roads. As the recreational vehicles continue to get larger, this Park will lose customers. Sites are pretty level, gravel, with adequate (not great) spacing between neighbors. Lots of road noise from the freeway, but RV parks are hard to come by in the area. We camped at Coeur D'Alene RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Falls Park in Post Falls is great for family and pets. Coeur D'Alene has a city ordinance restricting pets from being on the grass in their parks...don't know many dogs that understand doing their business on asphalt.
