SUGARLOAF 2 CAMPGROUND, Jefferson, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

For a public area that is in a National Forest, this campground has not received any upgrades or renovations in years. The vault toilets are up to date but are being pumped once every (2) two years. These literally gag you unlike those of the State Parks which are quite tolerable. The Campground Host is Hot & Cold with her Rude and sarcastic manerism. This campground is managed by a company called Pro-Sport. Very disappointing for such a beautiful spot in the White Mountains. We camped at SUGARLOAF 2 CAMPGROUND in a Fifth Wheel.

Owls Landing (formerly Bethel Woods Campground), Holderness, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This was a campground with lots of seasonals. The dump station and showers were out of order. "Just been inspected and approved by Woodall's". The campground was noisy and sites very close together, in-fact my neighbor on the drivers side had his fire roaring within 8 feet of my dining slide. No monitoring noted by owners. We camped at Owls Landing (formerly Bethel Woods Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Jacobs Brook Campground, Orford, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice quiet campground. Owners are husband & wife who were always busy cleaning and doing maintenance. "Both Very Friendly". There is a large pool, "spotless". Bath & Shower areas are walled with plywood but they are surely clean! Nice place for a family or someone looking for piece and quiet. No Road Noise! We camped at Jacobs Brook Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel, Eastport, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

From the shore, the park has a beautiful view of the ocean. The ocean view sites are very close together and other campers obstruct your view. We camped at Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel in a Motorhome.
