Sunset Travel Park, Cottondale, Alabama

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great overnight park or for couple days. No frills Has side by side hookups with concrete in between sites for all hookups. Very clean. Also has concrete patio and gravel level sites. We feel we scored. All spots are pull thru. We didn’t have to unhook our tow car. We camped at Sunset Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

You have to sign in at office then they will put you across the road for overnight stays. Less then 1/2 mile off interstate but was quite.

Safe Harbor RV Resort at Elm Hill, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $95.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park, gated, on the lake, courteous staff, and easy access to Nashville!! So happy we didn’t stay in one of the parks by Grand Ole Opry. We couldn’t say enough about the staff. Office was even open Sunday morning at 8:00 am for me to get more quarters for my laundry. Hours are 8 am - 6pm everyday We camped at Safe Harbor RV Resort at Elm Hill in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown Nashville is about 20 minutes away. Ask staff at office for backroad route to stay off of I-40 if you are here during week. Shopping for pets , groceries are 10-15 minutes other direction but easy access

Memphis East Campground, Lakeland, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Good overnight park. We stayed one night in our 36’ motor home. All sites are pull through sites, gravel but level. This is in the middle of a Mobile home park but does offer showers, pool and washer/dryers. We did not use any of these since we were staying overnight. We camped at Memphis East Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good overnight park or great access to Casino. It sits behind the motel on Hwy 259 Was very quiet and easy access. No amenities but for the price you can’t beat it to have 50 amp service and level spots. We camped at Rodway Inn (formerly Broken Bow Inn and RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Ancient Cedars Mesa Verde RV Park, Mancos, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 10 days in this park. The park's owners were very friendly and accommodating. They have good pull thru sites and were spacious enough to know your neighbor but not feel to crowded. The internet access was not good. We tried going closer to the office to see if we got better access but that did not work either. The closest good internet access was 8 miles away at San Juan Coffee shop in Cortez. Overall we had a great experience and the park was close enough to take day trips to Moab, UT Arches National park, Durango and Telluride. We camped at Ancient Cedars Mesa Verde RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lots to do in this area.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in this park for one night on our way to Colorado. It is very clean, spacious park. Sites are concrete and pull thru which are helpful when you are pulling a tow car. They had a great dog run which allowed our dogs to get some exercise without being on a leash. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Wolf Creek Park, Perryton, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park in a Class A motorhome and were pulling a car. It was easy access pull thru site. Sites are very large and spaced very far apart. Great view of lake and scenery and very quiet. One of those little surprises that we found on our way home from Colorado to south Texas. We ate in the restaurant which was very good and had excellent service. I can't say enough good things about this park. We camped at Wolf Creek Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This is in a remote area in the Panhandle of Texas about 15 miles south of Oklahoma. We found the city of Perryton to have good grocery stores and places for supplies. This is one of those camps you go to relax and get away from everything. Good fishing available from most of the sites.
