High Plains Camping, Oakley, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Entry roads were gravel and r.v.pads were grass and has a some sandburs . water , sewer and electric were adequate . We called and made reservation about week earlier and said we need a camping space close to the showers and facilities do to some disabilities , they parked us more than 100 yards away from buildings , we asked to move but they wanted to move us to a spot that wasn't much better . The swimming pool was small and to hard to get into , the hot tub was small , dirty and hard to get into , they advertised miniature golf , but are in the process removing it . they advertised a dog run , it was completely open on one side . We weren't able to use anything , we stayed one night and left , we won't ever stay here again ! We camped at High Plains Camping in a Motorhome.

Karrer City Park, McCook, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

It's a little tight making turns but very do-able. We were in site #1. There are a total of 7 ea. 30/50 electrical sites. They have water close by and was able to top-off water tank. They have a shower house but didn't use it. It's a very clean park. You will notice some train noise , but didn't bother us. They have a sewer dump. There is no charge, but the city of McCook has a drop box and accepts donations. We camped at Karrer City Park in a Motorhome.

Terrace Gardens RV Park, Oberlin, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Park is over grown with weeds. They have concrete pads, but they are un-level and hard to pull into. They only have 50amp service so if you need 30amp service you'll need to have an adapter. Voltage is a little high but adequate! We camped at Terrace Gardens RV Park in a Motorhome.

Oberlin, Kansas is a very friendly town. Stores are less than a mile away. We are visiting Oberlin’s home grown count fair, and they have a wonderful museum to see, and they have a memorial of the last Indian raid in Kansas!

4 Mile Creek Resort and Campground , Augusta, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Sites have very few 50 amps. Sites are very hard to get in and out of after a heavy rain. No sewer hook-ups but they do have a dump site. Golf-course is in terrible shape and, people aren't very friendly unless your in their circle of friends. We camped at 4 Mile Creek Resort and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
