One of our favorite parks in the Southwest. Always clean, well-kept, and all utilities work without a hitch. Good WiFi, and we especially enjoyed the pool and hot tubs in the early evening. It was the end of May, and beginning to get really warm. Highly recommended.

Date of Stay:

An older park, and definitely 'long in the tooth.' Could use some serious updating, but the 'kitsch' aspect was fun - having grown up with the Flintstones cartoons as kids. Plenty of room and good places to walk the dogs, but not the most scenic of land parcels. No shops or markets nearby other than 7-11 style curb market, so bring everything you need with you. Folks were very friendly, however, and we slept well.

Date of Stay:

Very nice for a rural spot in the middle of nowhere :-) Very pretty grounds. Site was reasonably level with full hookups; low water pressure was only negative (very very low). Soaking in hot spring was outstanding experience and thoroughly relaxing. Highly recommended. Not a "fancy" place at all, but we had a very nice stay.

Date of Stay:

Sites are close together as noted, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very close to freeway which may bother some, but super easy walk to Fremont and downtown casinos. There is a dog run area, but it is a short walk away and is located underneath the overhead freeway....not super convenient but did the job.

RV Park USA

Comfort, Texas

Super nice facility and very helpful staff. Park is spotless, and WiFi excellent. Good over-the-air tv reception, and a Love's Truck Center is a very short distance away. Close to interstate - easy on and off - but no road noise at all in the park. Would happily stay here again - highly recommended.

Date of Stay:

A new park; thoughtfully laid out and with easy accessibility. Water, electric, sewer at each site and all neat as a pin. Met at entrance by owner and wife who were extremely pleasant and helpful. Only possible drawback is proximity to interstate (may bother some)...but I slept soundly.

Date of Stay:

Site was level; electric and water fine with no problems. WiFi worked well (others have stated not working?)...but only for light surfing and email. I did not try to stream any movies. Biggest issue is narrow access inside of park. Big rigs will find it difficult and nerve-wracking to navigate to sites. Once settled, no problems whatsoever.

Date of Stay:

Park is small but very clean; sort of 'hidden' behind a not-very-attractive motel as others have noted. Water pressure excellent, power stable and 50amps, park is generally well-maintained. Freeway noise may bother some, but we slept fine (it's distant, but you can hear it). Great location with easy access; we will definitely stay here again.

A super-nice park...perhaps our favorite rv park ever :-) Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The park is alongside the Chama River and adjacent to the train depot (as others have noted). Can see the train come and go easily and is quite a sight! Everything was clean and the sites are under a huge canopy of cottonwood trees; cool and shady. We absolutely plan to return!

Date of Stay:

Super clean park in good location. Lower level sites (closer to entrance) have beautiful trees; many big rigs in rear are in an area with full hookups but no trees or shade. We preferred the lower area and were very happy with electric and water only, in a 38' Class A. WiFi was good, 50amp electric stable, and large dog park (1/2 acre). Couldn't get tv antenna reception from our site but that was the single drawback to an outstanding stay (and we didn't miss it that much!) We definitely plan to return here again.

Date of Stay:

A bit outside town, but easy to access and next door to Camping World. There are several major truck repair centers nearby (Freightliner, Rush Truck, etc.) for those possibly needing chassis work. Super friendly staff. Sites are gravel and adequately spaced. Wifi worked well for us. No pet area is a drawback, but there is space at perimeter to walk dogs on leashes without a problem, and the park has doggie waste bags available throughout.

Date of Stay:

Super nice state park. Clean, well-kept, new trees planted. Sites are large and nicely spaced. Some sites are considerably longer than others, but we still were able to leave our tow car connected to a 38' Class A and didn't have to unhitch. Nice lake and mountain views, and very relaxing.

Date of Stay:

Large park, very quiet. Excellent helpful staff and nice location near town. WiFi was good at times, spotty at others. Excellent area to walk dogs off-leash in countryside, and very convenient to groceries and shopping. We liked it so much, we've stayed twice in the past month.

Manzano's RV Park

Silver City, New Mexico

Date of Stay:

Excellent upkeep and maintenance; park is spic and span clean. Easy navigation of big rig but site was a touch short for including a tow. Super-friendly and helpful staff and a nice and quiet country-type location. Very relaxing and lots of quiet roads for walking dogs.

Date of Stay:

Nice park, a little tight for a bigger rig, but staff were very helpful in navigating. Excellent location in walking distance to small park which had a weekend festival in play; grocery store an easy walk as well. Dog park is a highlight (as others have mentioned). A very relaxing weekend....highly recommended.
