Topeka / Capital City KOA, Topeka, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

My girlfriend and I both live in Topeka and this KOA is a day escape for us. VERY VERY well kept, clean. Personnel there are awesome and outgoing. The new pool is a salt water pool, which again is very well maintained, nice landscaping around the pool area, and a steel pavilion with picnic tables to get out of the sun and smoke. One caution is that the steps getting into the pool are very slippery, they just need gripper strips installed to solve that. Highly recommend staying there. We camped at Topeka / Capital City KOA in a Truck Camper.

Lazy Days Campground, Marshall, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Checked Friday, paid for both nights upfront. The owner complained that he could not read my signature on his ipad(uses card swipe). Ended up being charge twice because he ran it twice. He did return my call this morning and trying to rectify it. The restrooms/showers were locked and you had to have them unlocked by him, although once in the showers they were pretty clean. He claimed to have wifi, but did not. The high pressure sodium flood light lighting the campground was so bright one needed sunglasses at night. The pool had water in it, but not in use. The owner is a nice man, but all in all, would not stay there again.... We camped at Lazy Days Campground in a Motorhome.
