Hardeeville RV, Hardeeville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

This was our third visit, and the first of self-registration. Had no problems, but it would have been nice for a list of channels for the cable TV. Actually this is a preferred type of destination, as we enjoy the quiet without a crowd of any kind. We shall return. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Motorhome.

Neapolitan Cove RV Resort, Naples, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is quite a place. There were no surprises, other than it was nicer than anticipated. Each contact whether by phone or e-mail was very positive. The sites are paved, landscaped, and well maintained. The staff could not have been better or more attentive. The Wi-Fi was always available and fast. A week here in the off season was delightful. We shall return!!! We camped at Neapolitan Cove RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Coastal Georgia RV Resort, Brunswick, Georgia

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was well designed and is first class. All facilities are new and spotless. The office staff are well trained wonderful. There was a comment about highway noise. We were in site #210 close to the lake. Across the lake is a large berm and woods. The sound, when noticeable, sound much like surf or "white noise". It was never objectionable. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Buckhorn Lake Resort, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $3.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely wonderful for our Rally! The entire staff was excellent! Park was immaculate, grass cut three times in one week - like a golf course. Meetings rooms were impeccable. Food was delicious. This is what all parks should be! We camped at Buckhorn Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Baton Rouge KOA, Denham Springs, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This was a last minute stop, as it was getting dark and beginning to rain. Staff was not on top of their game. The nicest person escorted us to our site and warned us to keep doors and windows locked, at they were having RV's broken into. Okay for an overnight stop, but nothing special. We camped at Baton Rouge KOA in a Motorhome.

Rainbow's End - Escapees Rainbow Park, Livingston, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We visited to consider volunteering at the Care Center. Our site was grass: nothing bad, but just a regular grass site. No special place. Attended a dinner: we found the residents to be not very friendly. The persons that spoke or talked to us had just arrived also. We definitely prefer Rainbow Plantation in Summerdale, AL. We camped at Rainbow's End - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Motorhome.

Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The location of this campground is great to explore downtown. The campground is quiet. The laundry is great! Not their fault, but we had a torrential downpour the night before our departure and we had six inches of water standing. A work-camper assisted us by unplugging our electric. This was a very unusual situation. We would stay there again! We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Briarcliffe RV Resort, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We used the Passport Membership. We were visiting a sick relative and this was convenient and reasonable. A bit large and spaces a bit close, but we were here for a specific reason and the park was not it. We would stay here again. We camped at Briarcliffe RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Campfire Lodgings, Asheville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The other posts virtually say it all. Do not let the "climb up the mountain" deter you. The road is very doable. Our 40' MH plus toad had no problem. Even passed a truck coming down. Staff could not possibly be nicer or better. The view from P2 was unbelievable! First class and wonderful! We camped at Campfire Lodgings in a Motorhome.

Hot Springs Campground, Hot Springs, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a wonderful campground filled with trees and reasonable room between sites. The hot mineral springs are across the street for soaking and massages. This is in mountain driving the last 15 miles, but good roads and no problems for big rigs. We enjoy fewer amenities and beautiful areas. We will definitely return. White water river rafting, small mountain towns, etc. We camped at Hot Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

Literally three blocks off I-26, this campground fit our needs precisely. We need a safe, quiet place for the evening convenient to restaurants, etc. The owner is present during the evenings and at times during the day. Reservations are not required. This really is a nice overnight stop. We camped at Park Place RV Park in a Motorhome.

Silver Springs State Park (formerly Silver River State Park), Ocala, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Efficient reservations at Reserve America and a warm welcome - simply handed us the papers. Very quiet and spotless. I agree with the earlier writer about needing sewer connection for a 10 rating, but this place was wonderful for us. The dual dump station was spotless and never a line. Deer walked through our site, camp hosts were wonderful. Seldom heard any noise from anhyone. We shall definitely return! We camped at Silver Springs State Park (formerly Silver River State Park) in a Motorhome.

Manatee Hammock Campground, Titusville, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2008 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed two nights to attend a meeting nearby. For that purpose, this was satisfactory. Sites are a bit crowded and some "long term" RVs a bit rough. It is convenient and quiet. This was a place to stay, not a destination. If in the area for a meeting or just an overnight, we would return. We camped at Manatee Hammock Campground in a Motorhome.

Oak Plantation Campground, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We diverted here to meet up with two other coaches for the night. Nice campground and we will return. Only negatives were many children riding bikes through campground; and sewer hookup was quite distant from electrical. We just dumped on the way out. We camped at Oak Plantation Campground in a Motorhome.

Mayberry Campground, Mount Airy, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is but a year old. It was laid out with considerable thought. All sites are pull-thru with modern hook-up pedestals. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Expansion continues. This will be a first-class campground deserving a higher rating in less than a year. We camped at Mayberry Campground in a Motorhome.
